Moreouer when ye faste/ be not sad as the ypocrites are. For they disfigure their faces/ that they myght besene of men how they faste. Verely I say vnto you/ they haue their rewarde. 6:19 Se that ye gaddre you not treasure vpon the erth/ where rust and mothes corrupte/ and where theues breake through and steale. Laye not vp for your selues treasure vpon earth, where the rust and mothe doth corrupte, and where theues breake through, and steale. Se that ye gaddre you not treasure vpon the erth/ where rust and mothes corrupte/ and where theues breake through and steale. Se that ye gather you not treasure vpon the earth, wher the mothe and kanker corrupt, and where theues digge through, and steale.
6:20 But gaddre ye treasure together in heuen where nether rust nor mothes corrupte/ and where theves nether breake vp nor yet steale. But laye vp for you, treasures in heuen, where nether rust nor mothe doth corrupte, and where theues do not breake thorow nor steale. But gaddre ye treasure together in heuen where nether rust nor mothes corrupte/ and where theves nether breake vp nor yet steale. But gather vp your treasures in heauen, where nether the mothes nor kanker corrupt, and where theues nether perce through, nor yet steale.
6:21 For where soeuer youre treasure is/ there will youre hertes be also. For where your treasure is, there will youre hert be also. For where soeuer youre treasure is/ there will youre hertes be also. For where soeuer your treasure is, there wil your harte be also.
6:22 The lyght of the body is thyne eye. Wherfore yf thyne eye be syngle all thy body shalbe full of lyght. The light of the body is the eye. Wherfore, yf thyne eye be single, all thy body shall be full of light. The lyght of the body is thyne eye. Wherfore yf thyne eye be syngle all thy body shalbe full of lyght. The light of the body is the eye. Then if thyne eye be cleare, all thy body shalbe ful of lyght.
6:23 But and yf thyne eye be wycked then all thy body shalbe full of derckenes. Wherfore yf the lyght that is in the/ be darckenes: how greate is that darckenes. But and yf thyne eye be wicked, all thy body shalbe full of darcknesse. Wherfore, yf the lyght that is in the be darcknes, how greate is that darcknes? But and yf thyne eye be wycked then all thy body shalbe full of derckenes. Wherfore yf the lyght that is in the/ be darckenes: how greate is that darckenes. But if thyne eye be wycked, then all thy body shalbe ful of darknes. Wherfore if the lyght that is in thee be darknes how great is that darknes?
6:24 No man can serue two mastres. For ether he shall hate the one and loue the other: or els he shall lene to the one and despise the other: ye cannot serue God and mammon. No man can serue two masters. For ether he shal hate the one and loue the other, or els leane to the one, and despyse the other: ye cannot serue God and Mammon. No man can serue two mastres. For ether he shall hate the one and loue the other: or els he shall lene to the one and despise the other: ye cannot serue God and mammon. No man can serue two maisters: for either he shal hate the one, and loue the other: or els he shal leane to the one, and despise the other. Ye can not serue God and riches.
6:25 Therfore I saye vnto you/ be not carefull for youre lyfe/ what ye shall eate/ or what ye shall drincke/ nor yet for youre body/ what ye shall put on. Is not the lyfe more worth then meat/ and the body more of value then rayment? Therfore I saye vnto you: be not carefull for youre lyfe, what ye shall eate or drincke, nor yet for youre bodye, what rayment ye shall put on. Is not the lyfe more worth then meat: and the body more of value then rayment? Therfore I saye vnto you/ be not carefull for youre lyfe/ what ye shall eate/ or what ye shall drincke/ nor yet for youre body/ what ye shall put on. Is not the lyfe more worth then meat/ and the body more of value then rayment? Therfore I say vnto you, be not careful for your life, what y» shal eat, or what ye shal dryncke: nor yet for your body, what ye shal put on. Is not the life more worth then meat, and the body more of value then rayment?
6:26 Beholde the foules of ye ayer: for they sowe not/ nether reepe/ nor yet cary into the barnes: and yet youre heuenly father fedeth them. Are ye not moche better then they? Behold, the foules of the ayer: for they sowe not, nether do they reape, nor cary into the barnes: and youre heuenly father fedeth them. Are ye not moch better then they? Beholde the foules of ye ayer: for they sowe not/ nether reepe/ nor yet cary into the barnes: and yet youre heuenly father fedeth them. Are ye not moche better then they? Beholde the fowles of the ayre: for they sowe not, neither reape, nor yet cary into the barnes: and yet your heauenly father feedeth them. Are ye not muche better then they?
6:27 Which of you (though he toke thought therfore) coulde put one cubit vnto his stature? Whych of you (by takynge carefull thought) can adde one cubyte vnto hys stature? Which of you (though he toke thought therfore) coulde put one cubit vnto his stature? Which of you by takinge careful thoght, is able to put one cubit vnto his stature?
6:28 And why care ye then for rayment? Consydre the lylies of the felde/ how they growe. They labour not nether spynne. And why care ye for rayment? Consydre the lylies of the felde, how they growe. They laboure not, nether do they spynne. And why care ye then for rayment? Consydre the lylies of the felde/ how they growe. They labour not nether spynne. And why care ye for rayment? Leame, therfore of the lilies of the fielde, how they growe: They laboure not, nether spinne.
6:29 And yet for all that I saye vnto you/ that euen Salomon in all his royalte was not arayed lyke vnto one of these. And yet I saye vnto you, that euen Salomon in all hys royalte was not arayed lyke one of these. And yet for all that I saye vnto you/ that euen Salomon in all his royalte was not arayed lyke vnto one of these. And yet for al that I say vnto you, that euen Solomon in all his royalty, was not arayed lyke one of these.
6:30 Wherfore yf God so clothe the grasse/ which ys to daye in the felde/ and to morowe shalbe caste in to the fournace/ shall he not moche more do the same vnto you/ o ye of lytle fayth? Wherfore, yf God so cloth the grasse of the felde (which though it stande to daye, is to morow cast into the fornasse) shall he not moch more do the same for you, O ye of lytle fayth? Wherfore yf God so clothe the grasse/ which ys to daye in the felde/ and to morowe shalbe caste in to the fournace/ shall he not moche more do the same vnto you/ o ye of lytle fayth? WTierfore if God so clothe the grasse, of the fielde which standeth to daye, and to morowe is cast into the ouen, shal he not muche more do the same vnto you, O ye of litle faith?
6:31 Therfore take no thought sayinge: what shall we eate/ or what shall we drinke/ or wher with shall we be clothed? Therfore, take no thought, saying: what shall we eate, or what shall we dryncke, or wherwith shall we be clothed? Therfore take no thought sayinge: what shall we eate/ or what shall we drinke/ or wher with shall we be clothed? Therfore take no thoght, saying, What shal we eat? or what shal we drincke? or wherwith shal we be clothed?
6:32 After all these thinges seke the gentyls. For youre heuenly father knoweth that ye haue neade of all these thynges. after all these thynges do the gentyls seke. For youre heuenly father knoweth, that ye haue nede of all these thynges. After all these thinges seke the gentyls. For youre heuenly father knoweth that ye haue neade of all these thynges. For after all these thynges seke the Gentiles. For your heauenly father knoweth that ye haue nede of all these things.
6:33 But rather seke ye fyrst the kyngdome of heuē and the rightewisnes therof/ and all these thinges shalbe ministred vnto you. But rather seke ye fyrst the kyngdome of God, and the ryghteousnesse therof, and al these thinges shalbe ministred vnto you. But rather seke ye fyrst the kyngdome of heuē and the rightewisnes therof/ and all these thinges shalbe ministred vnto you. But seke ye first the kyngdome of heauen, and the righteousnes therof, and all these thinges shalbe ministred vnto you.
6:34 Care not then for the morow/ but let the morow care for it selfe: for the daye present hath euer ynough of his awne trouble. Care not then for the morow, for the morowe daye shall care for it selfe: sufficient vnto the daye, is the trauayle therof. Care not then for the morow/ but let the morow care for it selfe: for the daye present hath euer ynough of his awne trouble. Care not then for the morow: for the morow shal care for it selfe: The day present hath euer inough to do with it owne grief.
