Ephesians: Chapter 4b

4:1 I Therfore which am in bondes for the Lordes sake/ exhorte you/ that ye walke worthy of the vocaciō wherwith ye are called/ THERFORE (whych am a presooer of the Lordes) exhorte you, that yewalit worthy of the vocacyon wherwith yt art called, I Therfore which am in bondes for the Lordes sake, exhorte you, that ye walke worthy of the vocaciō wherwith ye are called, I THERFORE, which am a prisoner in the Lord, praye you that ye walke worthy of the vocation wher vnto ye are called,
4:2 in all humblenes of mynde/ & meknes/ and longe sufferinge/ forbearinge one another thorowe loue/ with all lowlvnes and mekeness with humbleness of mvnde, forbearrns one another thorowe loue, in all humblenes of mynde, & meknes, and longe sufferinge, forbearinge one another thorowe loue, With all humblenes of mynde, and mekenes, with longe suffring, forbearing one another through loue.
4:3 and that ye be diligent to kepe the vnitie of the sprete in the bonde of peace/ and be <ttgent to kepe the vnitie of the sprete therow the bonde of peace, and that ye be diligent to kepe the vnitie of the sprete in the bonde of peace, Endeuoring to kepe the vnitie of the Sprite in the bonde of peace.
4:4 beynge one body/ and one sprete/ euē as ye are called in one hope of youre callinge. beynge cce body, and one sprete, euen as ye are call in one hope of youre calling. beynge one body, and one sprete, euē as ye are called in one hope of youre callinge. Ther is one body, and one Sprite, euen as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
4:5 Let ther be but one Lorde/ one fayth/ one baptime: Let ther Ik but one Lorde, one faith, one baptynse Let ther be but one Lorde, one fayth, one baptime: There is one Lord, one faith, one Baptisme.
4:6 one God and father of all/ which is aboue all/ thorow all and in you all. one God and father of all, whych aboue all, and thorow all, and in yo« one God and father of all, which is aboue all, thorow all and in you all. One God and Father of all, which is aboue all thing, and through all thyngs and in you all.
4:7 Vnto euery one of vs is geuen grace accordinge to the measure of the gyft of Christ. Unto euery one of vs is geuen gr accordynge to the measure of the gate of Christ. Vnto euery one of vs is geuen grace accordinge to the measure of the gyft of Christ. But vnto euery one of vs is geuen grace, according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
4:8 Wherfore he sayth: He is gone vp an hye and hath ledde captiuitie captiue/ & hath geuē gyftes vnto men. Wherfore he sayth: whin be went vp an hye, he ledde captiuitye ctptyue, and gaue gyftes vnto men. Wherfore he sayth: He is gone vp an hye and hath ledde captiuitie captiue, & hath geuē gyftes vnto men. Wherfore he Myth, When he ascended vp on hye, he led captiuitie captiue, and gaue gyftes vnto men.
4:9 That he ascended: what meaneth it/ but that he also descēded fyrst into the lowest parties of the erth? 4:11 And the very same made some Apostles/ some Prophetes/ some Euāgelistes/ some Sheperdes/ & some Teachers: And the very same made some Apostles, some Prophetes, some Euangelistts, some Sheperdes and Teachers: And the very same made some Apostles, some Prophetes, some Euāgelistes, some Sheperdes, & some Teachers: He therfore gaue some to he Apostles, and some Prophetes, and some Euangelistes, and some Pastours, and Teachers:
4:12 that the saynctes myght haue all thinges necessarie to worke & minister with all/ to the edifyinge of the body of Christ/ to the edifyeng of the saynctes, to the worke and minystracyon, euen to the ediiying of the body of ChryBt, that the saynctes myght haue all thinges necessarie to worke & minister with all, to the edifyinge of the body of Christ, That the Sainctes myght be gathered together, that the ministerie myght be vsed, and that the body of Christe might be edified.
4:13 tyll we euery one (in the vnitie of fayth/ & knowledge of the sonne of god) growe vp vnto a parfayte man/ after the measure of age of the fulnes of Christ. u tyll we all come to the vnitye of fayth, and knowledge of the sonne of God, vnto a parfavcte mm. vnto the measure of the full perfecte «gt of Christ tyll we euery one (in the vnitie of fayth, & knowledge of the sonne of god) growe vp vnto a parfayte man, after the measure of age of the fulnes of Christ. Tyl we euery one (in the vnitie of faith and knowledge of the Sonne of God) grow vp vnto a perfect man, after the measure of the age, of the fulnes of Christ.
4:14 That we hence forth be no moare chyldren/ waueringe & caried with euery wynde of doctrine/ by the wylynes of men & craftines/ wherby they laye a wayte for vs to deceaue vs. That we hence forth shuWt be nomore chyldren, wauerynge and carted aboute with euery wynde of doctrine, by the wylynes of men, thorow cT»funes. wherby they laye a wayte for vs, to deceaue vs. That we hence forth be no moare chyldren, waueringe & caried with euery wynde of doctrine, by the wylynes of men & craftines, wherby they laye a wayte for vs to deceaue vs. That we hence forth be no more chyldren, wauering and caried about wyth euery wynde of doctrine, as comenly chanceth vnto men, and with craftines, wherby they laye in wayet to deceaue.
4:15 But let vs folowe the trueth in loue/ and in all thinges growe in him which is the heed/ that is to saye Christ/ But let vs folowe the troeti in loue, and in all thynges growe in htm. whych is the heed, euen Christ. 4:16 in whom all the body ys coupled and knet to gether in euery ioynt wherwith one ministreth to another (accordinge to the operacion as euery parte hath his measure) and increaseth the body/ vnto the edyfyinge of it selfe in loue. n whom yf all the body be coupled and bet together thorow out euen- ioynt wherwrtn one mynygtreth to another (accordyngf to the operacyon as euerv parte hath a measure) he increaseth the body, vntothf edifyinge of it selfe thorow loue. in whom all the body ys coupled and knet to gether in euery ioynt wherwith one ministreth to another (accordinge to the operacion as euery parte hath his measure) and increaseth the body, vnto the edyfyinge of it selfe in loue. In whom all the body being coupled and knit together in euery ioynt, wherwith one ministreth to another (according to the effectual power, as euery parte hath it measure) increaseth the body, vnto the edifieng of it selfe in loue.
4:17 This I saye therfore & testifie in the Lorde/ that ye hence forth walke not as other gētyls walke/ in vanitie of their mynde/ This I saye therfore, and testify? thorow the Lorde, that ye hence forth w»lb not, as other Gentyls walke, in vanrte ot their mynde, This I saye therfore & testifie in the Lorde, that ye hence forth walke not as other gētyls walke, in vanitie of their mynde, This I say therfore and testifie in the Lord, that ye hence forth walke not as other Gentiles walke, in vanitie of their mynde:
4:18 blinded in their vnderstondinge/ beynge straūgers frō the lyfe which is in God thorow the ignorācy that is in them/ because of the blindnes of their hertes: lwhyle they are blynded in their vnderstandynge, beynge frf from a godly lvfe, by the meanes of tie ignorancv that is in them, and because d the blyndnes of their hertes: blinded in their vnderstondinge, beynge straūgers frō the lyfe which is in God thorow the ignorācy that is in them, because of the blindnes of their hertes: Hauing their cogitation darkened, and beyng strangers from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardenes of their harte.
4:19 which beynge past repentaunce/ haue geuen them selues vnto wantannes/ to worke all manner of vnclennes/ euen with gredines. wnych beynge past repentaunce, haue geuen then selues ouer vnto wantannes. to worke manner of vnclennes, euen with gredbe which beynge past repentaunce, haue geuen them selues vnto wantannes, to worke all manner of vnclennes, euen with gredines. Which beyng past remorce of conscience haue geuenthem seines vnto wantonnes ,to worke all maner of vnclennes, euen with gredynes.
4:20 But ye haue not so learned Christ/ But ve haue not so learned Christ But ye haue not so learned Christ, But ye haue not so learned Christ.
4:21 yf so be ye haue hearde of him/ & are taught in him/ euen as the trueth is in Iesu. If so be that ye haue hearde of by and haue bene taught in him, » trueth is in Iesu: yf so be ye haue hearde of him, & are taught in him, euen as the trueth is in Iesu. Yf so be ye haue heard hym, and haue bene taught by him, euen as the trueth is in Iesus.
4:22 So then as concerninge the cōuersacion in tyme past/ laye from you that olde mā/ which is corrupte thorow the deceauable lustes/ (as t conuersacyon in tyme past) to laye from you that olde man, which is corrupte, accordynge to the deceauable lustes. So then as concerninge the cōuersacion in tyme past, laye from you that olde mā, which is corrupte thorow the deceauable lustes, That is, to lay asyde, concernyng the conuersation in tyme past, that old man, which is corrupt through the deceueable lustes.
4:23 & be ye renued in the sprete of youre mindes Tobe renued also in the sprete of youre mynde, & be ye renued in the sprete of youre mindes And be renewed in the sprite of your mynde.
4:24 and put on that newe man/ which after the ymage of God is shapen in ryghtewesnes and true holynes. and to put on that newe man, which after God is shapen in ryghtewesnes mil true holynes. and put on that newe man, which after the ymage of God is shapen in ryghtewesnes and true holynes. And to put on that new man, which after God is ■ shapen vnto ryghtuousnes, and true holynes.
4:25 Wherfore put awaye lyinge/ & speake euery man truth vnto his neyghbour/ for as moche as we are mēbers one of another. Wherfore, put awave lvinge.and speak? euery man truth vnto his neyghbour, for as moch as we are members one of inother. Wherfore put awaye lyinge, & speake euery man truth vnto his neyghbour, for as moche as we are mēbers one of another. 4:26 Be angrye but synne not: let not the sonne go doune vpon youre wrath/ Be angrye, and synne not: let not the sonne go doune vpon youre wnth. Be angrye but synne not: let not the sonne go doune vpon youre wrath, Be angry, but synne not: let not the sunne go downe vpon your wrath.
4:27 nether geue place vnto the back byter. nether geue place vnto the backbyter. nether geue place vnto the back byter. Nether geue place to the deuil.
4:28 Let him that stole/ steale no moare/ but let him rather laboure with his hondes some good thinge/ that he maye haue to geue vnto him that nedeth. Let hym that stole, steale nomore but let him rather laboure with his hands the thyng whych is good, that he mivern vnto him that nedeth. Let him that stole, steale no moare, but let him rather laboure with his hondes some good thinge, that he maye haue to geue vnto him that nedeth. Let him that stole, steale no more: but let hym rather labour and worke with his handes the things which are good, that he may haue to geue vnto hym that nedeth.
4:29 Let no filthy cōmunicacion procede out of youre mouthes: but that which is good to edifie with all/ when nede is: that it maye haue faueour with the hearers. Let no filthy communicacyoo precede out of your mouthe: but that which B good to edifye with all, as oft as nede a: that it maye mynyster grace vnto the hearers. Let no corrupt communication procede out of your mouthes: but that which is good: to the vse of edifiing, that it may minister grace vnto the hearers.
4:30 And greue not the holy sprete of God/ by whom ye are sealed vnto the daye of redempciō. And greue not ye the boh sprete of God by whom ye are sealed vnto the daye of redempcyon. And greue not the holy sprete of God, by whom ye are sealed vnto the daye of redempciō. And greue not the holy Sprite of God, by whome ye are sealed vnto the day of redemption.
4:31 Let all bitternes/ fearsnes and wrath/ roringe and cursyd speakinge/ be put awaye from you/ with all maliciousnes. Let ill bitternes, and fearsnes and wrath rorynge and cursyd speakynge, be f awaye from you, with all malickmsnes Let all bitternes, fearsnes and wrath, roringe and cursyd speakinge, be put awaye from you, with all maliciousnes. Let all bytternes, fiercenesse, and wrath, roryng and cursed speaking be put away from you, with al maliciousnes.
4:32 Be ye courteouse one to another/ & mercifull/ forgeuinge one another/ euen as God for Christes sake fogaue you. Be ye courteouse one to another, mercyfnll, forgeuynge one another, enen « God for Christes sake hath forgenen voa. Be ye courteouse one to another, & mercifull, forgeuinge one another, euen as God for Christes sake fogaue you.
