4:1 I Therfore which am ī bondes for the lordes sake exhorte you/ thatt ye walke worthy off the vocation wher with ye are called/ I Therfore which am in bondes for the lordes sake/ exhorte you/ that ye walke worthy of the vocacion wherwith ye are called/ I Therfore which am in bondes for the Lordes sake/ exhorte you/ that ye walke worthy of the vocaciō wherwith ye are called/ I Therfore which am presoner in the LORDE, exhorte you, that ye walke as it becōmeth yor callinge wherin ye are called,
4:2 ī all humblenes of mynde/ and meknes/ and longe sufferynge/ forbearīge one another thorowe love/ in all humblenes of mynde/ and meknes/ and longe sufferynge/ forbearinge one another thorowe love/ in all humblenes of mynde/ & meknes/ and longe sufferinge/ forbearinge one another thorowe loue/ with all humblenes off mynde and mekenes, and longe sufferinge, forbearinge one another in loue,
4:3 ād that ye be dyligent to kepe the vnitie of the sprete in the bonde of peace/ and that ye be dyligēt to kepe ye vnitie of ye sprete in the bonde of peace/ and that ye be diligent to kepe the vnitie of the sprete in the bonde of peace/ and be diligent to kepe the vnite of the sprete thorow the bonde of peace.
4:4 beynge one body/ and one sprete/ even as ye are called in one hope of youre callynge. beynge one body/ and one sprete/ evē as ye are called in one hope of youre callynge. beynge one body/ and one sprete/ euē as ye are called in one hope of youre callinge. 4:5 Let therbe but one lorde/ one fayth/ one baptim: Let ther be but one lorde/ one fayth/ one baptim: Let ther be but one Lorde/ one fayth/ one baptime: One LORDE, one faith, one baptyme,
4:6 one god and father of all/ which is above all/ thorowe all/ and in vs all. one god and father of all/ which is above all/ thorow all and in you all. one God and father of all/ which is aboue all/ thorow all and in you all. one God and father of vs all, which is aboue all, and thorow all, and in you all.
4:7 Vnto every one of vs is geven grace acordīge to the measure of the gyft of Christ. Vnto every one of vs is geven grace acordinge to the measure of ye gyft of christ. Vnto euery one of vs is geuen grace accordinge to the measure of the gyft of Christ. Vnto euery one of vs is geuen grace, acordinge to the measure off the gifte off Christ.
4:8 wherfore he sayth: He is gone vppe an hye/ and hath ledde captivitie captive/ and hath geven gyftes vnto men. Wherfore he sayth: He is gone vp an hye/ and hath ledde captivitie captive/ & hath geven gyftes vnto men. Wherfore he sayth: He is gone vp an hye and hath ledde captiuitie captiue/ & hath geuē gyftes vnto men. Therfore sayeth he: He is gone vp an hye, and hath led awaye captiuyte captyue, and hath geuē giftes vnto men.
4:9 That he ascended: what meaneth it/ butt that he also descended fyrst into the lowest parties of the erth? That he ascended: what meaneth it/ but that he also descended fyrst into the lowest parties of the erth? That he ascended: what meaneth it/ but that he also descēded fyrst into the lowest parties of the erth? That he wente, vp what is it, but that he first came downe in to ye lowest partes of ye earth?
4:10 He that descended/ is evē the same also that ascended vppe/ even above all hevens/ to fulfill all thyngſ. He that descended/ is even the same also that ascended vp/ even above all hevens/ to fulfill all thinges. He that descended/ is euen the same also that ascended vp/ euen aboue all heauens/ to fulfill all thinges. He that came downe, is euen the same which is gone vp aboue all heauens, to fulfill all.
4:11 And the very same/ made some Apostles/ some prophetſ/ some Evangelistes/ some Shepperdes/ some Teachers: And the very same made some Apostles/ some prophetſ/ some Evangelistes/ some Sheperdes/ some Teachers: And the very same made some Apostles/ some Prophetes/ some Euāgelistes/ some Sheperdes/ & some Teachers: And ye same hath set some to be Apostles, some to be prophetes, some to be Euangelistes, some to be shepherdes & teachers,
4:12 that the saīctſ might have all thyngſ necessary to worke ād minister with all/ to the edifyinge of the body of Christ/ yt the sainctes might have all thingſ necessarie to worke & minister with all/ to the edifyinge of the body of christ/ that the saynctes myght haue all thinges necessarie to worke & minister with all/ to the edifyinge of the body of Christ/ wherby the sayntes mighte be coupled together thorow comen seruyce to the edifienge of ye body of Christ,
4:13 tyll we every chone (in the vnitie of fayth/ and knowledge of the sonne of god) growe vppe vnto a parfayte man/ after the measure of age which is in the fulnes off Christ: tyll we every one (in the vnitie of fayth/ and knowledge of the sonne of god) growe vp vnto a parfayte man/ after ye measure of age of the fulnes of Christ. tyll we euery one (in the vnitie of fayth/ & knowledge of the sonne of god) growe vp vnto a parfayte man/ after the measure of age of the fulnes of Christ. tyll we all come vnto one maner of faith and knowlege of the sonne of God, and become a perfecte man in to the measure of the perfecte age of Christ
4:14 Thatt we hence forth be no moare chyldren waverynge and caryed with every wynde of doctryne/ by the wylynes of mē and craftynes/ wher by they laye a wayte for vs to deceave vs. That we hence forth be no moare chyldren/ wauerynge and caryed with every wynde of doctryne/ by the wylynes of men and craftynes/ wherby they laye a wayte for vs to deceave vs. That we hence forth be no moare chyldren/ waueringe & caried with euery wynde of doctrine/ by the wylynes of men & craftines/ wherby they laye a wayte for vs to deceaue vs. that we be nomore children, waueringe & caried aboute with euery wynde of doctryne thorow the wickednes of men and craftynes, wherby they laye awayte for vs to disceaue vs.
4:15 Butt lett vs folowe the trueth in lowe/ and in all thyngſ growe in hym which is the heed/ that ys to saye Christ/ But let vs folowe the trueth in loue/ and in all thynges growe in him which is the heed/ that ys to saye Christ/ But let vs folowe the trueth in loue/ and in all thinges growe in him which is the heed/ that is to saye Christ/ But let vs folowe the trueth in loue, and in all thinges growe in him, which is the heade, euen Christ,

4:17 This I saye herfore/ and testifie ī the lorde/ that ye hence forth walke not as wother gentyls walke/ in vanities off their mynde/ This I saye therfore & testifie in ye lorde/ that ye hence forth walke not as other gentyls walke/ in vanitie of their mynde/ This I saye therfore & testifie in the Lorde/ that ye hence forth walke not as other gētyls walke/ in vanitie of their mynde/ This I saye therfore, and testifye in the LORDE, that ye walke nomore as ye other Heythen walke in the vanite of their mynde,
4:18 blynded in their vnderstondynge/ beynge straungers from the lyfe which is in god/ thorowe the ignorancy that is in them/ be cause off the blyndnes off their hertſ: blynded in their vnderstondynge/ beynge straungers from the lyfe which is in god thorow the ignorancy that is in them/ because of the blyndnes of their hertes: blinded in their vnderstondinge/ beynge straūgers frō the lyfe which is in God thorow the ignorācy that is in them/ because of the blindnes of their hertes: blynded in their vnderstondinge, beynge straungers frō the life which is in God thorow the ignoraunce that is in them, because of the blyndnes of their hert:
4:19 which beynge past repentaunce have geven them selves vnto wantannes/ to worke all manner of vnclēnes evē with gredynes. which beynge past repentaunce/ have geven them selves vnto wantannes/ to worke all manner of vnclennes/ even with gredynes. which beynge past repentaunce/ haue geuen them selues vnto wantannes/ to worke all manner of vnclennes/ euen with gredines. which beynge past repentaunce, haue geuē them selues ouer vnto wantonnes, to worke all maner of vnclennes euen with gredynesse.
4:20 But ye have not so learned Christ/ But ye have not so learned Christ/ But ye haue not so learned Christ/ But ye haue not so learned Christ,
4:21 Yf so be ye have herde off hym/ and are taught in hym/ even as the trueth is in Iesu: if so be ye have hearde of him/ and are taught in him/ even as the trueth is in Iesu. yf so be ye haue hearde of him/ & are taught in him/ euen as the trueth is in Iesu. yf so be that ye haue herde of him, & are taught in him, euen as the trueth is in Iesu.
4:22 so as concernynge the conversacion in tyme past/ laye from you that olde man/ which is corrupte thorowe the deceavable lustes/ So then as concernynge the cōversacion in tyme past/ laye from you that olde mā/ which is corrupte thorow the deceavable lustes So then as concerninge the cōuersacion in tyme past/ laye from you that olde mā/ which is corrupte thorow the deceauable lustes/ So then as concernynge the conuersacion in tyme past laye from you that olde man which marreth himselfe thorow disceauable lustes:
4:23 and be ye renued in the sprete off youre myndes/ and be ye renued in the sprete of youre myndes/ & be ye renued in the sprete of youre mindes but be ye renued in the sprete of youre mynde,
4:24 and put on that newe man/ which after a godly wyse/ is shapen in ryghtewesnes/ and true holynes. and put on that newe man/ which after the ymage of God is shapen in ryghtewesnes and true holynes. and put on that newe man/ which after the ymage of God is shapen in ryghtewesnes and true holynes. and put on that new man, which is shapen after God, in true righteousnes and holynes.
4:25 Wherfore putt awaye lyinge/ and speake every mā trueth vnto his neghbour/ for as moche as we are members one off another. Wherfore put awaye lyinge/ and speake every man truth vnto his neghbour/ for as moche as we are members one of another. Wherfore put awaye lyinge/ & speake euery man truth vnto his neyghbour/ for as moche as we are mēbers one of another. Wherfore put awaye lyenge, and speake euery man the trueth vnto his neghboure, for as moch as we are membres one of another.
4:26 Be angry/ but synne nott: lett nott the sonne goo doune apon youre wrathe/ Be angrye but synne not let not the sonne go doune apon your wrathe Be angrye but synne not: let not the sonne go doune vpon youre wrath/ Be angrie, but synne not. Let not ye Sonne go downe vpō youre wrath:
4:27 geve no place vnto the backbyter/ nether geue place vnto ye backbyter. nether geue place vnto the back byter. nether geue place to the bacbyter.
4:28 let hym that stole steale no moare/ but let hym rather laboure with his hondes some good thīge/ that he maye have to geve vnto hym that nedeth. Let him yt stole/ steale no moare/ but let him rather laboure with his hondes some good thinge that he maye have to geve vnto him that nedeth. Let him that stole/ steale no moare/ but let him rather laboure with his hondes some good thinge/ that he maye haue to geue vnto him that nedeth. He that hath stollen, let him steale nomore: but let him laboure rather, and do some good with his hondes, that he maye haue to geue vnto him that nedeth.
4:29 Let no filthy cōmunicacion procede out of youre mouthes: butt thatt whych is good to edefye with all/ when nede ys: that it maye have faveour with the heares. Let no filthy cōmunicacion procede out of youre mouthes: but yt whych is good to edefye with all/ when nede ys: that it maye have faveour with the hearers. Let no filthy cōmunicacion procede out of youre mouthes: but that which is good to edifie with all/ when nede is: that it maye haue faueour with the hearers. Let no filthy communicacion proceade out of youre mouth, but that which is good to edifye withall, whā nede is, that it be gracious to heare.
4:30 And greve not the holy sprete off God/ by whome ye are sealed vnto the daye of redempcion. And greve not the holy sprete of God/ by whome ye are sealed vnto the daye of redempcion. And greue not the holy sprete of God/ by whom ye are sealed vnto the daye of redempciō. And greue not the holy sprete of God, wher with ye are sealed vnto ye daye of redempcion.
4:31 Let all bitternes/ fearsnes and wrath/ rorynge and cursyd speakynge/ be put awaye from you/ with all maliciousnes. Let all bitternes fearsnes and wrath/ rorynge and cursyd speakynge/ be put awaye from you/ with all maliciousnes. Let all bitternes/ fearsnes and wrath/ roringe and cursyd speakinge/ be put awaye from you/ with all maliciousnes. Let all bytternes, and fearsnes, and wrath, and roaringe, & cursed speakynge be farre frō you with all maliciousnes.
4:32 be ye courteouse one to another/ be mercifull forgevynge one another/ even as God for Christſ sake forgave you. Be ye courteouse one to another/ and mercifull/ forgevynge one another/ evē as god for Christes sake forgave you. Be ye courteouse one to another/ & mercifull/ forgeuinge one another/ euen as God for Christes sake fogaue you. But be ye curteous one to another, mercifull, and forgeue one another, euē as God hath forgeuen you in Christ.
