1:1 The revelaciō of Iesus Christe/ which god gave vnto hī/ forto shewe vnto his servauntſ thyngſ which muste shortly come to passe. And he sent and shewed by hys angell vnto hys servaunt Ihon/ THe reuelacion of Iesus Christe/ which god gave vnto him/ forto shewe vnto his servauntes thingſ which muste shortly come to passe. 1:3 Happy is he that redith/ ād they that heare the wordes of the prophesy/ ād kepe thoo thyngſ which are writtē therin. For the tyme is at honde. 1:5 ād from Iesus Christ which is a fayhtfull witnes/ and fyrst begotten of the deed: ād lorde over the kyngſ of the erth. Vnto hym that loved vs and wesshed vs from oure synnes in his awne bloud/ & from Iesus Christ which is a faythfull witnes/ & fyrst begottē of the deed: & Lorde over the kinges of the erth. 1:7 Beholde he commeth with cloudes/ and all eyes shall se hym: ād they also which peersed hī. And all kynredſ of the erth shall wayle. even so amen. 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega/ the begynyge ād the endinge/ sayth the lorde almyghty/ which is and which was and which is to come. 1:9 Ihon youre brother and companyon ī tribulacion/ and in the kyngdom and pacience which is in Iesu Christe/ was ī the yle of Pathmos for the worde of god/ and for the witnessynge of Iesu Christe. That thou seiste write in a boke/ and sende hit vnto the congregacions which are ī Asia/ vnto Ephesus/ ād vnto Smyrna/ and vnto Pargamos/ and vnto Thiatira/ and vnto Sardis/ and vnto Philadelphia/ and vnto Laodicia. sayinge: I am Alpha & Omega/ the fyrst and the laste. 1:12 And I turned bake to se the voice that spake to me. And when I was turned: I sawe vij. golden cādelstyckſ/ And I turned backe to se the voyce that spake to me. And when I was turned: I sawe .vii goldē candelstyckes/ And I turned backe to se the voyce that spake to me. And when I was turned: I sawe .vij goldē candelstickes/ And I turned backe to se the voyce that spake to me. And whē I was turned: I sawe seuē goldē candestyckes,
1:13 ād in the myddſ of the candelstyckſ/ one lyke vnto the sōne of mā clothed with a lynnen garmēt doune to the ground/ and gyrd aboute the pappes with a golden gyrdle. & in the myddſ of the cādelstyckes/ one lyke vnto ye sōne of mā clothed with a lynnen garmēt doune to the ground/ & gyrd aboute the pappes with a golden gyrdle & in the middes of the cādelstickes/ one lyke vnto the sonne of mā/ clothed with a linnē garmēt doune to the groūd/ & gyrd about the pappes with a goldē gyrdle. and in the myddes of the candelstyckes, one like vnto the sonne of man clothed with a lynnin garmēt downe to the ground, and gyrd aboute the brest with a golden gyrdle.

1:16 And he had ī his right hōde vij. starres. And out of his mougth went a twoo edged swearde. And his face shone even as the sunne ī his strengthe. And he had in his right honde vii. starres. And out of his mouth wēt a sharpe twoo edged swearde. And his face shone evē as the sonne in his strength. And he had in his right honde .vij. starres. 1:17 And when I sawe hym/ I fell at his fete/ evē as deed. And he layde hys ryght honde apō me/ sayinge vnto me: feare not. 1:18 and am a lyve/ and was deed. And beholde I am a lyve for ever more/ and have the kayes off hell and off deeth. and am a lyve/ and was deed. 1:20 and the misteri off the vij. starres which thou sawest in my ryght honde/ and the vij. golden candelstyckſ. The vij. starres are the angellſ off the vij. congregacions: And the vij. candlestyckſ which thou sawest are the vij. congregacions. and ye mystery of the vii. starres which thou sawest in my ryght honde/ & the vii. golden candelstyckes. The vii. stares are the messengers of the vii. congregaciōs: And the vii. candlestyckes which thou sawest are the vii. congregacions. & the mystery of the .vij. starres which thou sawest in my right honde/ & the .vij. golden candelstickes. The .vij. starres are the messengers of the .vij. congregacions: And the .vij. candelstickes which thou sawest are the .vij. congregacions. & the mistery of the seuen starres which thou sawest in my right honde, and the seuen golden candelstickes. The seuen starres are the angels of the seuē congregacions: And the seuen candelstyckes which thou sawest, are the seuen congregacions.
