12:1 WHerfore lett vs also (seynge that we are cōpased with so gret a multitude of witnesses) laye a waye all that preseth vs doune/ ād the sinne that hangeth on vs/ ād let vs rūne with paciēce/ vnto the battayle that is set before vs/ VVherfore let vs also (seynge that we are cōpased with so great a multitude of witnesses) laye a waye all that presseth doune/ & the synne that hāgeth on/ & let vs rūne with paciēce vnto the battayle yt is set before vs/ VVherfore let vs also (seynge that we are cōpased with so great a multitude of witnesses) laye a waye all that presseth doune/ & the synne that hangeth on/ & let vs runne with pacience vnto the battayle that is set before vs/ WHerfore seynge we haue so greate a multitude of witnesses aboute vs let vs also laye awaye all yt presseth downe, and the synne that hangeth on, and let vs runne with pacience vnto the batayl that is set before vs,
12:2 lokynge vnto Iesus/ the auctor and fynnyssher of oure fayth/ which for the ioye that was set before hym/ abode the crosse/ and despysed the shame/ and is sett doune on the right honde off the trone off God. lokynge vnto Iesus/ the auctor & fynnyssher of oure fayth/ which for the ioye that was set before him/ abode the crosse/ and despysed the shame/ & is set doune on the right honde of ye trone of God. lokinge vnto Iesus the auctor and finissher of oure fayth/ which for the ioye that was set before him/ abode the crosse/ & despised the shame/ & is set doune on the right honde of the trone of God. lokynge vnto Iesus ye auctor and fynissher of faith: which whan the ioye was layed before him, abode the crosse, and despysed the shame, and is set downe on ye righte hāde of ye trone of God.
12:3 Consider therfore howe that he endured suche speakīge agaynst hym of sinners/ lest ye shulde be weried and faynte in youre myndes. Consider therfore how that he endured suche speakinge agaynst him of synners/ lest ye shuld be weried and faynte in youre myndes. Consider therfore how that he endured suche speakinge agaynst him of synners/ lest ye shulde be weried & faynte in youre myndes. Cōsidre him therfore that endured soch speakinge agaynst hī of synners, lest ye be weery and faynte in youre myndes:
12:4 For ye have not yet resisted vnto bloud sheddynge/ stryvynge agaynst sinne. For ye have not yet resisted vnto bloud sheddinge/ stryvinge agaynst synne. For ye haue not yet resisted vnto bloud sheddinge/ striuinge agaynst synne. for ye haue not yet resisted vnto bloude, stryuynge agaynst synne,
12:5 And ye have forgottē the cōsolaciō which speaketh vnto you/ as vnto children: My sonne despyse nott the chastenynge of the lorde/ nether faynt whē thou arte rebuked of hym: And ye have forgotten the consolacion/ which speaketh vnto you/ as vnto chyldren: My sonne despyse not the chastenynge of the Lorde/ nether faynt when thou arte rebuked of him: And haue forgotten the consolacion/ which speaketh vnto you/ as vnto chyldrē: my sonne despise not the chasteninge of the Lorde/ nether faynt whon thou arte rebuked of him: and haue forgotten the consolacion, which speaketh vnto you as vnto children: My sonne, despyse not the chastenynge off the LORDE, nether faynte whan thou art rebuked of him:
12:6 For whom the lorde loveth/ hym he chasteneth: yee/ ād he scourgeth every sōne that he receaveth. For whom the Lorde loveth/ him he chasteneth: yee/ & he scourgeth every sonne that he receaveth. For whom the Lorde loueth/ him he chasteneth: yee/ & he scourgeth euery sonne that he receaueth. for whō the LORDE loueth, him he chasteneth, yee and he scourgeth euery sonne that he receaueth.
12:7 Yf ye shall endure chastnynge/ god offereth hī silfe vnto you/ as vnto sonnes. What sōne is that whom the father chasteneth not? Yf ye endure chastninge/ God offereth him selfe vnto you/ as vnto sonnes. What sonne is that whom the father chasteneth not? Yf ye endure chasteninge/ God offereth him selfe vnto you as vnto sonnes. What sonne is that whom the father chasteneth not? Yf ye endure chastenynge, God offereth himselfe vnto you as vnto sonnes. What sonne is that, whom the father chasteneth not?
12:8 Yf ye be not vnder correccion (where of all are part takers) then are ye bestardſ and not sonnes. If ye be not vnder correcciō (where of all are part takers) then are ye bastardes and not sonnes. If ye be not vnder correcciō (where of all are part takers) then are ye bastardes and not sonnes. Yf ye be not vnder correccion (wherof all are partakers) then are ye bastardes and not sonnes.
12:9 Moreover seynge we had fathers of oure flesshe which corrected vs/ and we gave thē reverence: shall nott we moche rather be in subieccion vnto the father of spretuall gyftes and shall live? Moreover seynge we had fathers of oure flesshe which corrected vs/ and we gave them reverence: shuld we not moche rather be in subieccion vnto the father of spretuall gyftes/ that we myght live? Moreouer seynge we had fathers of oure flesshe which corrected vs/ and we gaue them reuerence: shulde we not moche rather be in subieccion vnto the father of spretuall gyftes/ that we might liue? Morouer seyenge we haue had fathers off oure flesh which corrected vs, & we gaue them reuerence, shulde we not then moch rather be in subieccion vnto ye father of spirituall giftes, yt we mighte lyue?
12:10 And they verely for a feave dayes/ nurtred vs after their awne pleasure: but he learneth vs vnto that which is proffitable/ that we myght receave off his holines. And they verely for a feaue dayes/ nurtred vs after their awne pleasure: but he learneth vs vnto that which is proffitable/ that we myght receave of his holines. And they verely for a feawe dayes/ nurtred vs after their awne pleasure: but he learneth vs vnto that which is proffitable/ that we myght receaue of his holynes. And they verely for a few dayes nurtred vs after their awne pleasure: but he lerneth vs vnto yt which is profitable, that we mighte receaue of his holynes.
12:11 No manner learnynge for the presēt tyme semeth to be ioyeous/ but greveous: neverthelesse afterwarde it bryngeth the quyet frute off rightewesnes vnto them which there in are exercysed. No manner chastisynge for the present tyme semeth to be ioyeous/ but greveous: neverthelesse afterwarde it bryngeth the quyet frute of rightewesnes vnto them which are therin exercysed. No manner chastisinge for the present tyme semeth to be ioyeous/ but greueous: neuerthelesse afterwarde/ it bringeth the quyet frute of rightewesnes/ vnto them which are therin exercysed. No maner chastisynge for the present tyme semeth to be ioyous, but greuous: neuertheles afterwarde it bringeth the quyete frute of righteousnes, vnto them which are exercysed therby.
12:12 Stretch forthe therfore agayne the hōdes which were let doune/ ād the weake knees/ Stretch forthe therfore agayne the hondes which were let doune/ & the weake knees/ Stretch forthe therfore agayne the hondes which were let doune/ & the weake knees Life vp therfore the handes which were let downe, and the weake knees,
12:13 ād se that ye have strayght steppes vnto youre fete/ lest eny haltīge turne out of the waye: yee/ let hit rather be healed. & se that ye have strayght steppes vnto youre fete/ lest eny haltinge turne out of ye waye: yee/ let it rather be healed. & se that ye haue strayght steppes vnto youre fete/ lest eny haltinge turne out of the waye: yee let it rather be healed. and se that ye haue straight steppes vnto youre fete, lest eny haltinge turne you out of the waye, yee let it rather be healed.
12:14 Embrace peace with all men/ ād wholynes: with out the which/ no mā shall se the lorde. Embrace peace with all men/ & holynes: with out the which/ no man shall se the Lorde. Embrace peace with all men & holynes: with out the which no man shall se the Lorde. Folowe after peace with all men, and holynes, with out the which no man shal se the LORDE,
12:15 And se that no mā be destitute of the grace of god/ lest eny rote of bitternes sprīge vppe and trouble: and therby many be defiled. And looke to/ that no man be destitue of the grace of God/ & that no rote of bitternes springe vp & trouble/ & therby many be defiled: And loke to/ that no man be destitute of the grace of God/ & that no rote of bitternes springe vp & trouble/ & therby many be defiled: ād loke well, that no mā be destitute of the grace of God, lest there sprynge vp eny bytter rote, and cause disquyetnes, and therby many be defyled:
12:16 That there be no fornicator/ or vnclene preson/ as Esau/ which for one breakfast solde his right that belonged vnto hī/ ī that he was the eldest brother. and that there be no fornicator/ or vnclene person/ as Esau/ which for one breakfast solde his birthright. and that ther be no fornicator/ or vnclene person/ as Esau/ which for one breakfast solde his byrthryght. that there be no whoremonger, or vncleane person, as Esau, which for one meate sake solde his byrth righte.
12:17 Ye knowe howe that afterwarde when that he wolde have inherited the blessynge/ he was put by. His repētaunce founde no grace/ no though he desyred that blessynge with teares. Ye knowe how that afterwarde when he wolde have inherited the blessinge/ he was put by/ & he foūde no meanes to come therby agayne: no though he desyred it with teares. Ye knowe how that afterwarde when he wolde haue inherited the blessynge/ he was put by/ and he founde no meanes to come therby agayne: no though he desyred it with teares. For ye knowe, how that afterwarde whan he wolde haue inhereted the blessynge, he was put by: for he foūde no place of repētaunce, though he desyred (ye blessynge) with teares.
12:18 For ye are not come vnto the moūte that is touched/ ād vnto burnīge fyre/ nor yet to myst ād darcknes and tēpest of wedder/ For ye are not come vnto the mounte that can be touched/ & vnto burninge fyre/ nor yet to myst & darcknes and tempest of wedder/ For ye are not come vnto the mounte that can be touched/ and vnto burnynge fyre nor yet to myst and darcknes and tempest of wedder/ For ye are not come to ye moūt that can be touched and burneth with fyre, nether yet to myst and darcknes, and tempest of wedder,
12:19 nether vnto the sounde of a trōpe ād the voyce of wordes: which voyce they that herde it/ wisshed awaye/ that the cōmunicaciō shulde not be spoken to thē. nether vnto the sounde of a trōpe & the voyce of wordes: which voyce they that hearde it/ wisshed awaye/ that the cōmunicacion shuld not be spoken to them. nether vnto the sounde of a trompe and the voyce of wordes: which voyce they that hearde it/ wisshed awaye/ that the communicacion shuld not be spoken to them. nether to the sounde of the trompe, and ye voyce of wordes: which they that herde, wysshed awaye, that the worde shulde not be spoken to them,
12:20 For they were not able to abyde that which was spokē. Yf a beast had touched the mountayne/ hit muste have bene stoned/ or thrust thorowe with a darte: For they were not able to abyde that which was spoken. If a beast had touched the mountayne/ it must have bene stoned/ or thrust thorowe with a darte: For they were not able to abyde that which was spoken. Yf a beast had touched the mountayne/ it must haue bene stoned/ or trust thorowe with a darte: for they were not able to abyde that which was spoken. And yf a beest had touched the mountayne, it must haue bene stōed, or thrust thorow with a darte.
12:21 even so terreble was the sight which apered. Moses sayde I feare and quake. evē so terreble was ye sight which appered. Moses sayde/ I feare & quake. euen so terreble was the syght which appered. Moses sayde/ I feare and quake. And so terrible was the sighte which appeared, that Moses sayde: I feare and quake.
12:22 But ye are come vnto the mounte Sion/ and to the citie off the livynge god/ the celestiall Ierusalem: and to an innumerable sight of angels/ But ye are come vnto the moūte Sion/ & to the citie of the livinge god/ the celestiall Ierusalem: and to an innumerable sight of angels/ But ye are come vnto the mounte Syon/ and to the cite of the lyuynge God/ the celestiall Ierusalem: and to an innumerable syght of angels But ye are come to the mount Sion, and to the cite of the lyuynge God, to the celestiall Ierusalem, and to the multitude of many thousande angels,
12:23 ād vnto the cōgregaciō of the fyrst borne sōnes/ which are written in heven/ and to god the iudge of all/ and to the spretes of Iust and parfect men/ & vnto the congregacion of ye fyrst borne sonnes/ which are writtē in heven/ and to God the iudge of all and to the spretes of iust and parfecte men/ and vnto the congregacion of the fyrst borne sonnes/ which are written in heuen/ and to God the iudge of all/ and to the spretes of iust and parfecte men/ and vnto the congregacion of the first borne, which are wrytten in heauen, and to God the iudge of all, and to the spretes of iust and perfecte men,
12:24 and to Iesus the mediator of the newe testament/ ād to the spryncklynge of bloud that speaketh better then the bloud of Abell. and to Iesus the mediator of the newe testament/ & to the spryncklynge of bloud that speaketh better then the bloud of Abell. and to Iesus the mediator of the newe testament/ and to the sprincklynge of bloud that speaketh better then the bloud of Abel. and to Iesus the mediatoure of the new Testament, and to the sprenklynge off bloude, that speaketh better then the bloude of Abel.
12:25 Se that ye despyse not hī that speaketh. For yf they escaped not which refused hī that spake on erth: Moche more shall we not escape/ yf we turne awaye frō hī that speaketh from hevē: Se that ye despise not him yt speaketh. For yf they escaped not which refused him that spake on erth: moche more shall we not escape/ yf we turne awaye frō him yt speaketh frō hevē: Se that ye despyse not him that speaketh. For yf they escaped not which refused him that spake on erth: moche more shall we not escape/ yf we turne awaye from him that speaketh from heuen: Se that ye despyse not him that speaketh vnto you: for yf they escaped not which refused him that spake on earth, moch more shal we not escape, yf we turne awaye from him that speaketh from heauē:
12:26 whose voyce then shuke the erth/ and nowe declareth sayinge: yet once more will I shake/ not the erth only/ but also heven. whose voyce thē shouke the erth/ & now declareth sayinge: yet once more will I shake not the erth only/ but also heven. whose voyce then shouke the erth/ and now declareth sayinge: yet once more will I shake/ not the erth only/ but also heuen. whose voyce shoke the earth at that tyme. But now promyseth he, & sayeth: Yet once more wyl I shake, not the earth onely, but also heauen.
12:27 No dout that same that he sayth/ yet once more/ signifieth the removynge a waye of those thyngſ which are shaken/ as off thyngſ which have ended their course: thatt the thīgſ which are not shakē maye remayne. No dout yt same that he sayth/ yet once more/ signifieth the removinge a waye of those thingſ which are shaken/ as of thinges which have ended their course: that the thynges which are not shaken maye remayne. No dout that same that he sayth/ yet once more/ signifieth the remouynge awaye of those thinges which are shaken/ as of thinges which haue ended their course: that the thinges which are not shaken/ maye remayne. No doute that same that he sayeth yet once more, signifieth the remouynge awaye of those thinges which are shaken, as off thinges which are made: that ye thinges which are not shakē, maye remayne.
12:28 Wherfore if we receave the kyngdō which is not moved/ we have grace/ wherby we maye serve god and please hym with reverence and godly feare. Wherfore if we receave a kyngdom which is not moved/ we have grace/ wherby we maye serve god and please him with reverence and godly feare. Wherfore yf we receaue a kyngdome which is not moued/ we haue grace/ wherby we maye serue God and please him with reuerence and godly feare. Wherfore, seynge we receaue the vnmoueable kyngdome, we haue grace, wherby we maye serue God, & please him, with reuerence and godly feare.
12:29 For oure god is consumynge fyre. For oure god is a consumynge fyre. For oure God is a consumynge fyre. For oure God is a consumynge fyre.

13:2 be not forgetfull to be kynde to straungers. For thereby have dyvers receaved angels īto their houses vnwares. Be not forgetfull to lodge straungers. For therby have dyvers receaved angels into their houses vnwares. Be not forgetfull to lodge straungers. For therby haue diuers receaued angels into their housses vnwares. Be not forgetfull to lodge straungers: for therby haue dyuerse receaued angels in to their houses vnawares.
13:3 Remenber thē that are ī bōdes/ even as though ye were bounde with thē. Be myndfull of thē which are ī adversitie/ as ye which are yet ī youre bodies. Remember them that are in bondes/ even as though ye were bounde with them. Be myndfull of them which are in adversitie/ as ye which are yet in youre bodies. Remember them that are in bondes/ euen as though ye were bounde with them. Be myndfull of them whith are in aduersitie/ as ye which are yet in youre bodyes. Remembre them that are in bondes, euē as though ye were bounde with them: and be myndefull off them which are in aduersite, as ye which are also in the bodye.
13:4 Let wedlocke be had ī pryce in all poyntſ/ ād let the chāber be vndefiled: for whore kepers/ ād advoutrars god will iudge. Let wedlocke be had in pryce in all poyntes/ and let the chamber be vndefiled: for whore kepers and advoutrars god will iudge. Let wedlocke be had in pryce in all poyntes/ and let the chamber be vndefiled: for whore kepers and aduoutrars God will iudge. Let wedlocke be had in pryce in all poyntes, & let ye chamber be vndefyled. For whorekepers and aduouterers God wil iudge.
13:5 Let youre cōversacion be with out coveteousnes/ ād be cōtent with that ye have allredy. For he verely said: I will not fayle the/ nether for sake the: Let youre conversacion be with out coveteousnes and be contēt with that ye have all redy. For he verely sayd: I will not fayle the/ nether for sake the: Let youre conuersacion be without coueteousnes and be content with that ye haue all redy. For he verely sayd: I will not fayle the/ nether forsake the: Let youre conuersacion be without couetousnes, and be content with that ye haue allready, for he hath sayde: I wyl not fayle the nether forsake the,
13:6 that we maye boldly saye: The lorde is my helper/ and I will nott feare what man doeth vnto me. that we maye boldly saye: the lorde is my helper/ and I will not feare what man doeth vnto me. that we maye boldly saye: the Lorde is my helper/ and I will not feare what man doeth vnto me. so that we maye boldely saye: The LORDE is my helper, and I wyl not feare what man maye do vnto me.
13:7 Remēber thē which have the oversight of you/ which have declared vnto you the worde of god: cōsider the conversacion off their livynge/ and counterfet their fayth. Remember them which have the oversight of you/ which have declared vnto you the worde of god. The ende of whose conversacion se that ye looke vpon/ and folowe their fayth. Remember them which haue the ouersyght of you/ which haue declared vnto you the worde of God. The ende of whose conuersacion se that ye looke vpon/ and folowe their fayth: Remembre thē which haue the ouersighte of you, which haue declared vnto you the worde of God. The ende of whose cōuersacion se that ye loke vpon, and folowe their faith.
13:8 Iesus Christ yesterdaye ād to daye/ ād the same cōtinueth for ever. Iesus Christ yesterdaye and to daye/ & the same continueth for ever. Iesus Christ yesterdaye and to daye/ and the same continueth for euer. Iesus Christ yesterdaye and Todaye, & the same cōtinueth for euer.
13:9 Be not caryed hidder ād thydder with divers ād straunge learnynge. For it is a good thīge that the herte be stablisshed with grace/ ād not with meates/ which have not proffeted them that have had their pastyme in thē. Be not caryed aboute with divers and straunge learnynge. For it is a good thynge that the herte be stablisshed with grace/ and not with meates/ which have not proffeted them that have had their pastyme in them. Be not caryed aboute with diuers and straunge learnynge. For it is a good thinge that the herte be stablisshed with grace/ and not with meates/ which haue not proffeted them that haue had their pastyme in them. Be not caried aboute wt dyuerse and straunge lernynges: for it is a good thinge that the herte be stablysshed with grace, and not with meates, which haue not profited them, that haue had their pastyme in them.
13:10 We have an aultre wherof they maye nott eate which serve in the tabernacle. We have an altre wherof they maye not eate which serve in the tabernacle. We haue an altre wherof they maye not eate which serue in the tabernacle. We haue an altare, wherof they haue no power to eate, which serue in the Tabernacle.
13:11 For the bodies of those beastes (whose bloud is brought into the holy place by the hie prest to pourge sīne) are bournt with out the tētes. For ye bodies of those beastes whose bloud is brought into the holy place by the hie prest to pourge sinne/ are burnt with out the tentes. For the bodyes of those beastes whose bloud is brought into the holy place by the hye prest to pourge synne/ are burnt with out the tentes. For the bodies of those beestes whose bloude is broughte in to the holy place by ye hye prest to pourge synne, are brent without the tētes.
13:12 Therfore Iesus/ to sāctifye the peple with his awne bloud/ suffered with out the gate. Therfore Iesus/ to sanctifye the people with his awne bloud/ suffered with out the gate. Therfore Iesus/ to sanctifie the people with his awne bloud/ suffered with out the gate. Therfore Iesus also, to sanctifye ye people by his awne bloude, suffred without ye gate.
13:13 Let vs goo forth therfore out of the tentes/ and suffer rebuke with hī. Let vs goo forth therfore out of the tentes/ & suffer rebuke with him. Let vs goo forth therfore out of the tentes/ and suffer rebuke with him. Let vs go forth therfore out of the tentes, and suffre rebuke with him:
13:14 For here have we no cōtinuynge citie: but we seke a cite to come. For here have we no continuynge citie: but we seke one to come. For here haue we no continuynge cite: but we seke one to come. for here haue we no contynuynge cite, but we seke one to come.
13:15 For by hī offer we the sacrifice of laude all wayes to god: that is to saye the frute of those lyppes/ which cōfesse his name. For by him offer we the sacrifice of laude all wayes to god: that is to saye/ the frute of those lyppes/ which confesse his name. For by him offer we the sacrifice of laude all wayes to God: that is to saye/ the frute of those lyppes/ which confesse his name. Let vs therfore by him offre allwayes vnto God the sacrifice of prayse: that is to saye, the frute of those lippes which confesse his name.
13:16 To do goode/ ād to distribute forget not/ for with suche sacrifises god is pleased. To do good/ and to distribute forget not/ for with suche sacrifises god is pleased. To do good and to distribute forget not/ for with suche sacrifices God is pleased. To do good and to destribute forget not, for wt soch sacrifices God is pleased.
13:17 Obeye thē that have the oversight of you/ ād submit youre selves to thē/ for they watche for youre soules/ even as though they shulde geve a cōptes for them: that they maye do it with ioye/ ād not with grefe. For that is an vnproffitable thynge for you. Obeye thē that have the oversight of you/ and submit youre selves to them/ for they watch for youre soules/ even as they that must geve a comptes: that they maye do it with ioye/ and not with grefe. For that is an vnproffitable thynge for you. Obeye them that haue the ouersyght of you/ and submit youre selues to them/ for they watch for youre soules/ euen as they that must geue a comptes: that they maye do it with ioye/ and not with grefe. For that is an vnproffitable thinge for you. Obey them that haue the ouersighte off you, and submytte youre selues vnto them: for they watch for youre soules, euen as they that must geue accōptes therfore, that they maye do it with ioye, and not with grefe: for that is an vnprofitable thinge for you.
13:18 Praye for vs. We have cōfidence be cause we have a good conscience in all thyngſ/ and desyre to live honestly. Praye for vs. We have confidence because we have a good conscience in all thynges/ & desyre to live honestly. Praye for vs. We haue confidence because we haue a good conscience in all thinges/ and desyre to lyue honestly. Praye for vs. We haue confidence, because we haue a good cōscience in all thinges, and desyre to lyue honestly.
13:19 I desire you therfore somwhat the moare haboūdantly/ that ye so do/ that I maye be restored to you quycly I desire you therfore somwhat the moare aboundantly/ that ye so do/ that I maye be restored to you quyckly. I desyre you therfore somwhat the moare aboundantly/ that ye so do/ that I maye be restored to you quickly. But I desyre you ye more a bundauntly, that ye so do, yt I maye be restored vnto you the more quyckly.
13:20 The god of peace that brought agayne frō deeth oure lorde Iesus Christ/ the gret shepherde of the shepe/ thorowe the bloud of the everlastynge testament/ The god of peace that brought agayne frō deth oure lorde Iesus/ the gret shepperde of the shepe/ thorowe the bloud of the everlastynge testamēt/ The God of peace that brought agayne from deeth oure Lorde Iesus/ the gret shepperde of the shepe/ thorowe the bloud of the euerlastynge testament/ The God of peace (that broughte agayue frō the deed oure LORDE Iesus the greate shepherde of the shepe thorow the bloude of the euerlastinge Testament)
13:21 make you parfet in all workſ/ to do his will/ and brynge to passe/ that whatsoever ye do/ maye be accepted in his sight/ by the meanes of Iesus Christ. To whō be prayse for ever whill the worlde endureth Amen. make you parfect in all good workes/ to do his will/ workynge in you yt which is pleasaūt in his syght thorow Iesus christ To whom be prayse for ever whill the worlde endureth Amen. make you parfect in all good workes/ to do his will/ workynge in you that which is pleasaunt in his syght thorow Iesus Christ.
