9:1 OF the ministrynge to the saynctſ/ it is butt superfluus for me to write vnto you: OF the ministrynge to ye saynctes/ it is but superfluous for me to write vnto you: OF the ministringe to the saynctes/ it is but superfluous for me to write vnto you: OF the handreachinge vnto ye sayntes, it is no nede for me to wryte vnto you:
9:2 for I knowe youre redynes off mynde/ wherof I bost my silfe vnto them of Macedonia/ and saye that Achaia was prepared a yeare a goo/ and youre fervētnes hath provoked many. for I knowe youre redynes of mīde/ wherof I bost my silfe vnto them of Macedonia/ & saye that Achaia was prepared a yeare a goo/ and youre ferventnes hath provoked many. for I knowe youre redines of minde/ wherof I bost my selfe vnto them of Macedonia/ & saye that Achaia was prepared a yere a go/ & youre feruentnes hath prouoked many. for I knowe youre redynesse of mynde, wherof I boast my selfe amonge them of Macedonia, and saye: Achaia was ready a yeare agoo. And youre feruentnesse hath prouoked many.
9:3 Neverthelesse yet have I sent these brethren/ lest oure reioysynge over you shulde be in vayne in this behalfe. and that ye (as I have sayd) prepare youre selves/ Never thelesse yet have I sent these brethren/ lest oure reioysynge over you shuld be in vayne in this behalfe/ and that ye (as I have sayd) preparare youre selues/ Neuerthelesse yet haue I sent these brethrē/ lest oure reioysinge ouer you shulde be in vayne in this behalfe/ and that ye (as I haue sayd) prepare youre selues Neuertheles yet haue we sent these brethren, lest oure reioysinge ouer you shulde be in vayne in this behalfe, that ye mighte be ready, as I haue reported of you:
9:4 lest paraventure yf they of Macedonia come with me ād fynde you vnprepared/ the boost that I mad in this matter shulde be a shame to vs: I saye not vnto you. lest paravēture yf they of Macedonia come with me & fynde you vnprepared/ the boost that I made in this matter/ shuld be a shame to vs: I saye not vnto you. lest parauenture yf they of Macedonia come with me/ & fynde you vnprepared/ the boost that I made in this matter/ shuld be a shame to vs. I saye not vnto you. lest whan they of Macedonia come with me, and fynde you vnprepared, we (I wyl not saye ye) shulde be ashamed in this presumpcion of boostinge.
9:5 Wherfore I thought it necessary to exhorte the brethren/ to come before honde vnto you/ forto prepare youre good blessynge promysed a fore/ that it myght be redy: so that it be a belssynge/ and not a defraudynge. Wherfore I thought it necessary to exhorte the brethren/ to come before hōde vnto you forto prepare youre good blessynge promysed a fore/ that it myght be redy: so yt it be a blessynge/ and not a defraudynge. Wherfore I thought it necessary to exhorte the brethrē/ to come before honde vnto you for to prepare youre good blessinge promised a fore/ that it myght be redy: so that it be a blessinge/ & not a defraudinge. Wherfore I thoughte it necessary to exhorte the brethren, to come before hande vnto you, for to prepare this blessynge promysed afore, that it mighte be ready, so that it be a blessynge, and not a defraudynge.
9:6 This yet remember/ howe that he which soweth lytell/ shall reepe lytell: and he that soweth plenteously/ shall reepe plēteously. This yet remember/ howe that he which soweth lytell/ shall reepe lytell: & he yt soweth plenteously shall reepe plenteously. This yet remember/ howe that he which soweth lytell/ shall reepe lytell/ & he that soweth plenteously shall reepe plenteously. This I thynke: that he which soweth litle, shal reape litle also: and he yt soweth plenteously, shal likewyse reape plenteously,
9:7 and let every man do accordynge as he hath purposed in his herte/ not groudgyngly/ or of necessite. For god loveth a chearfull gever And let every man do accordynge as he hath purposed in his herte/ not groudgyngly/ or of necessite. For god loveth a chearfull gever. And let euery man do accordinge as he hath purposed in his herte/ not groudgingly/ or of necessite. For God loueth a chearfull geuer. euery one acordynge as he hath purposed in his hert, not grudgingly, or of compulsion. For God loueth a chearfull geuer.
9:8 God is able to make you ryche in all grace/ that ye in all thyngſ havynge sufficient vnto the vttmoste/ maye be ryche vnto all manner good workſ/ God is able to make you ryche in all grace that ye in all thynges havynge sufficiēt vnto the vttmoste/ maye be ryche vnto all manner good workes/ God is able to make you ryche in all grace/ that ye in all thinges hauinge sufficient vnto the vtmoste/ maye be ryche vnto all manner good workes/ God is able to make you riche in all grace, yt ye in all thinges hauynge sufficiet to the vttemost, maye be riche to all maner of good workes.
9:9 as it written: He hath sparsed abroade and hath geven to the povre/ his rightewesnes remayneth for ever. as it is written: He yt sparsed abroade and hath geven to the povre/ his rightewesnes remayneth for ever. as it is writtē: He hath sparsed abroade and hath geuen to the poore/ his rightewesnes remayneth for euer. As it is wryttē: He hath sparsed abrode & geuē to ye poore, his righteousnes remayneth for euer.
9:10 He that fyndeth the sower sede/ shall minister breed for fode/ ād shall multiplie youre sede/ and increace the frutes of youre rightewesnes that on all parties/ He yt fyndeth the sower seed/ shall minister breed for fode/ and shall multiplie youre seed and increace the frutes of youre rightewesnes He that findeth the sower seed/ shall minister breed for fode/ and shall multiplie youre seed and increace the frutes of youre rightewesnes He that geueth sede vnto the sower, shal mynistre bred also for fode, and shal multiplye youre sede, and increase the frutes of yor righteousnes,
9:11 ye maye be made ryche in all synglenes/ which causeth throwe vs/ thankſ gevynge vnto god. that on all parties/ ye maye bemade ryche in all synglenes/ which causeth thorowe vs/ thankes gevynge vnto god. that on all parties/ ye maye be made riche in all singlenes/ which causeth thorowe vs/ thankes geuinge vnto God. that in all thinges ye maye be made riche vnto all singlenesse, which causeth thorow vs, thankesgeuynge vnto God.
9:12 For the ofice off this ministracion/ not only supplieth the nede off the sayntſ: but also is aboundaunt herein/ that for this laudable ministrynge/ thankſ myght be geven to god of many/ For the office of this ministracion/ not only supplieth the nede of the sayntes: but also is aboundaunt herein/ that for this laudable ministrynge/ thankes myght be geven to god of many/ For the office of this ministracion/ not only supplieth the nede of the saynctes: but also is aboundaunt herein/ that for this laudable ministringe/ thankes myght be geuen to God of many/ For the hādreachinge of this colleccion not onely suppleeth the nede off the sayntes, but also is abūdaunt herin, that for this laudable mynistracion many mighte geue thākes vnto God,
9:13 whiche prayse god for youre obedience in knowledgynge the gospell of Christ. and for youre synglenes/ in distributynge to them/ and to all men. whiche prayse god for the obedience of youre professynge ye gospell of Christ/ and for youre synglenes in distributynge to them and to all mē: which prayse God for the obedience of youre professinge the gospell of Christ/ and for youre singlenes in distributinge to them and to all men: and prayse God for yor obedient professynge of the Gospell of Christ, & for yor synglenesse in distributynge vnto thē, and to all men,

10:1 I Paule my silfe beseche you by the mekenes and softnes of Christ/ which when I am present amonge you/ am of no reputacion/ but am bolde towarde you beynge absent. I Paule my silfe beseche you by the mekenes and softnes of Christ/ which when I am present amōge you/ am of no reputaciō/ but am bolde towarde you beinge absent. I Paul my selfe beseche you by the mekenes and softnes of Christ/ which when I am present amōge you am of no reputacion/ but am bolde towarde you beinge absent. I Paul my selfe beseke you by the mekenesse and softnesse off Christ, which when I am present amonge you, am of small reputacion, but am bolde towarde you beynge absent.
10:2 I besech you that I nede not to be bolde when I am present (with that same cōfidēce/ wherwith I am supposed to be bolde) agaīst some which repute vs as though we walked carnally. I besech you that I nede not to be bolde when I am present (with that same confidēce/ wher with I am supposed to be bolde) agaynst some which repute vs as though we walked carnally. I beseche you that I nede not to be bolde when I am present (with that same cōfidence/ wherwith I am supposed to be bolde) agaynst some which repute vs as though we walked carnally. I beseke you that I nede not be bolde whan I am present, & to vse yt boldnesse wherwith I am supposed to be bolde, agaynst some, which repute vs as though we walked after ye flesh:
10:3 Neverthelesse though we walke cōpased with the flesshe/ yet we warre not flesshly. Neverthelesse though we walke compased with ye fleshe/ yet we warre not flesshlye Neuerthelesse though we walke cōpased with the flesshe/ yet we warre not fleshlye. for though we walke in the flesh, yet fighte we not after a fleshly maner.
10:4 For the weapens of oure warre are not carnall thingſ/ but thyngſ myghty in god to cast doune stronge holdes/ For the weapēs of oure warre are not carnall thinges/ but thynges myghty in god to cast doune stronge holdes/ For the weapens of oure warre are not carnall thinges/ but thinges mighty in God/ to cast doune strōge holdes/ For the wapens of oure warre are not fleshly, but mightie before God to cast downe strōge holdes,
10:5 wher with we overthrowe ymagenacions/ and every hye thynge that exalteth it silfe agaīst the knowledge of god/ and brynge into captivitie all vnderstondynge to the obediēce of Christ/ wherwith we overthrowe ymaginacyons/ & every hye thynge that exalteh it silfe agaynst the knowledge of god and brynge into captivite all vnderstondynge to the obedience of Christ/ wherwith we ouerthrowe ymaginacions/ and euery hye thinge that exalteth it selfe agaynst the knowledge of God/ & bringe into captiuite all vnderstondinge to the obedience of Christ/ wherwith we ouerthrowe ymaginacions, & euery hye thinge yt exalteth it selfe agaynst the knowlege of God, and brynge in to captiuyte all vnderstondinge to the obedience of Christ,
10:6 ād are redy to take vengeaunce on all disobedience/ when youre obedience is fulfilled. and are redy to take vengeaunce on all disobedience/ when youre obedience is fulfilled. and are redy to take vengeance on all disobedience/ when youre obedience is fulfilled. & are ready to take vengeaunce on all disobedience, whan youre obediēce is fulfylled.
10:7 Loke ye on thyngſ after the vtter apparence. Yff eny man trust in hym silfe that he is Christis/ let the same also considre off hym silfe/ that as he is Christis/ even so are we Christſ. Loke ye on thynges after ye vtter apparence? Yf eny man trust in him silfe yt he is Christis/ let the same also considre of him silfe/ yt as he is Christis/ even so are we Christſ. Loke ye on thinges after the vtter apperaunce? Yf eny man trust in him selfe that he is Christes/ let the same also considre of him selfe/ that as he is Christes/ euē so are we Christes. Loke ye on thinges after ye vtter appearaūce?Yf eny man trust of himselfe yt he is Christes, let him thinke this also by himselfe, yt like as he is Christes, euē so are we Christes also.
10:8 And though I shulde bost my silfe somwhat moare of oure auctorite which the lorde hath gevē vs to edifie and nott to destroye you/ it shulde not be to my shame. And though I shuld bost my silfe somewhat moare of oure auctorite which the lorde hath geven vs to edifie & not to destroye you/ it shulde not be to my shame. And though I shuld bost my selfe somewhat moare of oure auctorite which the Lorde hath geuē vs to edifie and not to destroye you/ it shulde not be to my shame. And though I shulde boast my selfe somwhat more of oure auctorite which ye LORDE hath geuē vs to edifye and not to destroye, it shulde not be to my shame.
10:9 This saye/ I lest I shulde seme as though I went a bout to make you a frayde with letters. This saye I/ lest I shuld seme as though I went a bout to make you a frayde with letters. This saye I/ lest I shuld seme as though I went about to make you a frayde with letters. This I saye, lest I shulde seme, as though I wente aboute to make you afrayed with letters.
10:10 For the pistles (sayth he) are sore and stronge: but his bodyly presence is weake/ and his speache whomly. For ye pistles (sayth he) are sore and stronge: but his bodyly presence is weake/ and his speache rude. For the pistles (sayth he) are sore & strōge: but his bodyly presence is weake/ & his speache is rude. For the pistles (saye they) are sore and stronge, but his bodely presence is weake, and his speache rude.
10:11 Let hym that is soche thynke on this wyse/ that as we are in wordes by letters when we are abseut/ soche are we in dedes when we are present. Let him yt is soche thynke on this wyse/ that as we are in wordes by letters when we are absent/ soche are we in dedes when we are present. Let him that is soche thinke on this wise/ that as we are in wordes by letters when we are absent/ soche are we in dedes whē we are present. Let him yt is soche, thinke on this wyse, that as we are in worde by letters whā we are absente, soch are we also in dede whan we are present.
10:12 For we cannot fynde in oure hertes to make oure selves of the nombre of them/ or to cōpare oure selves to them/ which laude thē selves: but whill they measure thē selves with them selves/ and compare them selves with them selves/ they vnderstonde nought. For we cannot fynde in oure hertes to make oure selves of ye nombre of them/ or to compare oure selves to them/ which laude thē selves neuerthelesse whill they measure thē selves wt them selves/ & cōpare thē selves wt thē selves/ they vnderstōde nought. For we cannot finde in oure hertes to make oure selues of the nombre of them/ or to cōpare oure selues to them/ which laude thē selues/ neuerthelesse whill they measure thē selues with thē selues/ & cōpare thē selues with thē selues/ they vnderstonde nought. For we darre not reken or compare oure selues, vnto some that prayse them selues: Neuertheles whyle they measure them selues by them selues, and holde onely of them selues, they vnderstonde nothinge.
10:13 But we woll not reioyce above measure: but acordynge to the quantitie of the measure which god hath distributed vnto vs/ a measure that reacheth even vnto you. But we wyll not reioyce above measure: but accordynge to the quantitie of ye measure which god hath distributed vnto vs/ a measure that reacheth even vnto you. But we will not reioyce aboue measure: but accordinge to the quantite of the measure which God hath distributed vnto vs/ a measure that reacheth euen to you. Howbeit we wil not boast or selues aboue measure, but onely acordinge to the measure of the rule, wherwith God hath distributed vnto vs the measure to reach euen vnto you.
10:14 For we stretche not out oure selves beyonde measure as though we had not reached vnto you. For even vnto you have we come with the gospell off Christ/ For we stretche uot out oure selves beyōde measure as though we had not reached vnto you. For even vnto you have we come with the gospell of Christ/ For we stretche not out oure selues beyonde measure as though we had not reached vnto you. For euē to you haue we come with the gospell of Christ/ For we stretche not or selues to farre as though we had not reached vnto you. For euen vnto you haue we come with the Gospell of Christ,
10:15 and we bost not oure selves out off measure in nother mens labours: ye and we hope/ When youre fayth is īcreased amōge you/ to be magnified acordynge to oure measure more largely: & we bost not oure selves out of measure in other mens labours. Ye & we hope/ when youre fayth is increased amōge you/ to be magnified acordynge to oure measure more largely/ & we bost not oure selues out of measure in other mens labours. Ye & we hope/ when youre fayth is increased amōge you/ to be magnified accordinge to oure measure/ more largely and boast not oure selues out of measure in other mens laboures: Yee and we hope whan youre faith is increased in you, that we wil come farther (acordinge to oure measure)
10:16 And to preache the gospell in those regions which are beyonde you: and nott to reioyce off that which is by anothers mans measure prepared all redy. and to preache ye gospell in those regions which are beyōde you: & not to reioyce of that which is by a nother mans measure prepared all redy. and to preache the gospell in those regiōs which are beyōde you: and not to reioyce of that which is by another mans measure prepared all redy. and preach the Gospell vnto them that dwell beyonde you, and not to reioyse in that, which is prepared with another mans measure.
10:17 Let hym that reioyseth/ reioyce in the lorde. Let him yt reioyseth/ reioyce in the lorde. Let him that reioyseth/ reioyse in the Lorde. LEt him that reioyseth, reioyse in the LORDE:
10:18 For he that prayseth hym silfe/ is nott alowed: butt he whom the lorde prayseth. For he that prayseth him silfe/ is not alowed: but he whom the lorde prayseth. For he that prayseth him selfe/ is not alowed: but he whom the Lorde prayseth. for he yt prayseth him selfe, is not alowed, but he whō ye LORDE prayseth.

11:1 WOlde to god/ ye coulde suffre me a lytell ī my folysshnes: yee/ ād I praye you forbeare me. VVolde to god/ ye coulde suffre me a lytell in my folysshnes: yee/ and I praye you forbeare me. VVolde to God/ ye coulde suffre me a lytell in my folisshnes: yee & I praye you forbeare me. Wolde God ye coulde suffre me a litle in my foloshnes, yet do ye forbeare me.
11:2 For I ā gelous over you with godly gelousy. For I coupled you to one mā/to make you a chaste virgē to Christ: For I am gelous over you with godly gelousy. For I coupled you to one man/ to make you a chaste virgen to Christ. For I am gelous ouer you with godly gelousy. For I coupled you to one man/ to make you a chaste virgen to Christ. For I am gelous ouer you wt godly gelousy. For I haue maried you vnto one mā, to brynge a chaste virgin vnto Christ.
11:3 but I feare lest as the serpēt begyled Eve/ thorowe his sutteltie/ even so youre wittſ shulde be corrupte from the singlenes that is in Christ. But I feare lest as the serpent begyled Eve/ thorow his sutteltie/ even so youre wittes shuld be corrupte from the singlenes that is in Christ. But I feare lest as the serpent begyled Eue thorow his sutteltie/ euē so youre wittes shuld be corrupte frō the singlenes that is in Christ. But I feare, lest as ye serpēt begyled Eue wt his sutteltie, euē so yor wyttes shulde be corrupte from the synglenesse that is in Christ.
11:4 For iff he that commeth to you preache another Iesus then hym whom we preached: or if ye receave another sprete then that which ye have receaved: other another gospell then that ye have receaved/ ye myght right wele have bene content. For if he that commeth preache another Iesus then hym whom we preached: or if ye receave another sprete then that which ye have receaved: other another gospell then that ye have receaved/ ye myght right wel have bene content. For yf he that commeth/ preache a nother Iesus then him whom we preached: or yf ye receaue another sprete then that which ye haue receaued: ether a nother gospell then that ye haue receaued/ ye myght ryght well haue bene content. For yf he that commeth vnto you, preach another Iesus, whom we haue not preached, or yf ye receaue another sprete, yt ye haue not receaued, or another Gospell which ye haue not accepted, ye might right well haue bene cōtent.
11:5 I suppose that I was nott be hynde the chefe apostles. I suppose that I was not behynde ye chefe apostles. I suppose that I was not behinde the chefe Apostles. For I suppose that I am no lesse thē the hye Apostles are.
11:6 Though I be rude in speakynge/ yet I am not so in knowledge. Howe be it amonge you we are knowen to the vtmost what we are in all thyngſ. Though I be rude in speakynge/ yet I am not so in knowledge. How be it amonge you we are knowen to the vtmost what we are in all thynges. Though I be rude in speakinge/ yet I am not so in knowledge. How be it amonge you we are knowen to the vtmost what we are in all thinges. And though I be rude in speakynge, yet am I not rude in knowlege. Howbeit amōge you I am knowne to the vttemost.
11:7 Did I therin synne be cause I submitted my silfe/ that ye myght be exalted? ād because I preached the gospell to you fre? Did I therin synne/ be cause I submitted my silfe/ that ye myght be exalted/ & because I preached to you the gospell of God fre? Dyd I therin synne/ because I submitted my selfe/ that ye myght be exalted/ & because I preached to you the gospell of God fre? Or dyd I synne therin because I submytted my selfe, that ye mighte be exalted? For I preached vnto you the Gospell of God frely,
11:8 I robbed wother congregacions/ and toke wages of them/ to do you service with all. I robbed other congregacions/ and toke wages of thē/ to do you service with all. I robbed other congregacions/ & toke wages of them/ to do you seruice with all. and robbed other cōgregacions, and toke wages of thē, to preach vnto you.
11:9 And when I was present with you ād had nede/ I was greveous to no man. For that which was lakynge vnto me/ the brethren which cam from Macedonia supplied: and in all thyngſ I kept my silfe that I shulde not be greveous to you: and so will I kepe my silfe. And when I was present with yov and had nede/ I was greuous to no man for that which was lackynge vnto me/ the brethren which came from Macedonia/ supplied: & in all thynges I kept my silfe that I shuld not be greveous to you: & so will I kepe my silfe. And when I was present with you/ and had nede/ I was greuous to no man for that which was lackinge vnto me/ the brethren which came from Macedonia/ supplied: and in all thinges I kept my selfe that I shuld not be greueous to you: & so will I kepe my selfe. And whan I was present with you, and had nede, I was greuous to no man: for yt which was lackynge vnto me, the brethren which came fro Macedonia, suppleed. And in all thinges I kepte myselfe so, yt I shulde not be greuous to you, & so wyl I kepe my selfe.
11:10 Yff the trueth off Christ be in me/ this reioysynge shall nott be taken from me in the regions of Achaia. Yf the trueth of Christ be in me/ this ieioysynge shall not be taken from me in the regions of Achaia. Yf the trueth of Christ be in me/ this reioysinge shall not be taken from me in the regions of Achaia. As surely as the trueth of Christ is in me, this reioysinge shal not be taken fro me in the regions of Achaia.
11:11 Wherfore? be cause I love you not? God knoweth. Wherfore? Be cause I love you not? God knoweth. Wherfore? Be cause I loue you not? God knoweth. Wherfore? because I shulde not loue you? God knoweth.
11:12 Neverthelesse what I doo/ that will I do to cut awaye occasion from them which desyre occasion/ that they myght be founde lyke vnto vs in that wher in they reioyce: Neverthe lesse what I doo/ that will I do/ to cut awaye occasion from them which desyre occasion/ that they myght be founde lyke vnto vs in that wherin they reioyce. Neuerthelesse what I do/ that will I do to cut awaye occasion from them which desyre occasion/ that they myght be founde lyke vnto vs in that wherin they reioyce. Neuertheles what I do and wyl do, that do I to cut awaye occasion, from thē which seke occasion, that they mighte boast thē selues to be like vnto vs.
11:13 for these falce apostles are disceatefull workers/ and fassion them selves lyke vnto the apostles of Christ. For these falce apostles are disceatefull workers/ and fassion them selves lyke vnto ye apostles of Christ. For these false apostles are disceatefull workers/ and fassion them selues lyke vnto the Apostles of Christ. For soch false Apostles & disceatfull workers fashion them selues like vnto the Apostles of Christ.
11:14 And no marvayle/ for satan hym silfe is chaunged into the fassion of an angell of light. And no marvayle/ for satan him silfe is chaunged into the fassion of an angell of light. And no maruayle/ for Satan him selfe is chaūged into the fassion of an angell of lyght. And that is no maruell: for Sathan himfelfe is chaunged in to ye fashion of an angell of light.
11:15 Therfore it is no grett thynge/ though his ministers fassion them selves as though they were the ministers of rightewesnes: whose ende shalbe accordynge to their dedes. Therfore it is no great thynge/ though his ministers fassion them selves as though they were the ministers of rightewesnes: whose ende shalbe acordynge to their dedes. Therfore it is no great thinge/ though his ministers fassion them selues as though they were the ministers of rightewesnes: whose ende shalbe accordinge to their dedes. Therfore is it no greate thinge, though his mymisters fashion them selues as though they were the preachers of righteousnes, whose ende shalbe acordinge to their dedes.
11:16 I saye agayne lest eny man thynke that I am folishe: or els even nowe take me as a fole/ that I maye bost my silfe a lytell. I saye agayne/ lest eny man thynke yt I am folishe: or els evē now take me as a fole/ that I maye bost my silfe a lytell. I saye agayne/ lest eny mā thinke that I am folisshe: or els euē now take me as a fole/ that I maye bost my selfe a lytell. I saye agayne, lest eny man thynke that I am folish: or els take me euen now as a fole, yt I maye boast my selfe a litle also.
11:17 That I speake/ I speake it not after the wayes of the lorde: but as it were folysshy/ whill we are nowe come to bostynyge. That I speake/ I speake it not after the wayes of the lorde: but as it were folysshly/ whill we are now come to bostynge.
