19:2 & sayde vnto thē: haue ye receaued the holy goost sence ye beleued? And they sayde vnto hym: no we haue not hearde whether ther be eny holy goost or no. and sayde vnto them haue ye receaued the holy goost, sence ye beleued? And they sayde vnto him: no, we haue not heard whether ther be eny holy goost or no. and sayd vnto thē: haue ye receaued the holy goost sence ye beleued? And they sayde vnto him: no we haue not hearde whether ther be eny holy goost or no. And sayd vnto them, Haue ye receaued the holy Gost sence ye beleued? And they sayd vnto him, No, we haue not heard whether ther be any holy Gost.
19:3 And he sayde vnto thē: wherwith were ye then baptised? And they sayd: with Iohns baptyme. s And he sayde vnto them: wherwith were ye then baptised? And they sayd: with Iohns baptime. And he sayde vnto thē: wherwith were ye then baptised? And they sayd: with Iohns baptim. And he sayd vnto them, Vnto what then baptized? And they said, baptisme.
19:4 Then sayd Paul: Iohn verely baptised with the baptim of repentaunce/ saying vnto the people that they shuld beleue on him/ which shuld come after him: that is on Christ Iesus. 19:5 Whē they hearde that/ they were baptised in the name of the Lorde Iesu. When they hearde this, they were baptised in the name ot the Lorde lesu. When they hearde that, they were baptised in the name of the Lorde Iesu. When they heard that, they were baptized in the Name of the Lord Iesus.

19:8 And he wēt into the synagoge/ & behaued him selfe boldely for the space of thre monethes/ disputinge and geuinge them exhortacions of the kyngdom of God. 19:9 When dyuers wexed harde herted & beleued not/ but spake euyll of the waye/ and that before the multitude: he departed from thē/ and seperated the disciples. 19:12 so that from his body/ were brought vnto ye sicke/ napkyns or partelettſ/ and the diseases departed from them/ and the euyll spretes went out of them. 19:13 Then certayne of the vagabounde Iewes exorcistes/ toke vpon them to call ouer them which had euyll spretes/ the name of ye Lord Iesus sayinge: We adiure you by Iesu whō Paul preacheth. 19:16 And the man in whome the euyll sprete was/ ranne on them/ & ouercame thē/ and preuayled agaynst them/ so yt they fledde out of that house naked & wounded. 19:17 And this was knowen to all the Iewes & Grekes also/ which dwelt at Ephesus and feare came on them all/ and they magnified the name of the Lorde Iesus. 19:19 Many of thē which vsed curious craftes/ brought their bokes & burned them before all men/ & they counted the pryce of them/ & founde it fyfty thousand syluerlynges. 19:21 After these thynges were ended/ Paul purposed in the spete/ to passe ouer Macedonia & Achaia/ & to go to Ierusalem saying: After I haue bene there/ I must also se Rome. 19:22 So sent he into Macedonia two of thē that mynistred vnto hym Timotheus and Erastus: but he him selfe remayned in Asia for a season. 19:25 Which he called together wt the workemen of lyke occupaciō/ & sayd: Syrs/ ye knowe yt by this crafte we haue vauntage. which he called togedder with the worke men of lyke occupacion/ and sayd: Syrs ye knowe that by this crafte we have vauntage. 19:26 Moreouer ye se & heare yt not alone at Ephesus/ but all most thorow out all Asia/ this Paul hath persuaded & turned awaye moche people sayinge yt they be not goddes which are made with hādes. 19:27 So yt not only this oure crafte cometh into parell to be set at nought: but also that the tēple of the greate Goddas Diana shulde be despysed/ and her magnifycence shulde be destroyed/ which all Asia and the worlde worshyppeth. 19:29 And all ye citie was on a roore/ & they russhed into the comen hall with one assent/ & caught Gayus and Aristarcus/ men of Macedonia/ Pauls companiōs. 19:30 When Paul wolde haue entred in vnto the people/ the disciples suffered him not. 19:35 Whē ye toune clarcke had ceased ye people/ he sayde: ye men of Ephesus/ what man is it that knoweth not how that the cytye of the Ephesians is a worshipper of ye great goddes Diana/ & of the ymage which cam frō heauen. 19:38 Wherfore yf Demetrius & the craftes men whych are with him/ haue eny sayinge to eny man/ the lawe is open/ and ther are rulers/ let thē accuse one another. Wherfore, yf Demetrius and the craftes men whych are with him, haue a matter agaynst eny man, the lawe is open, and ther are rulers, let them accuse one another. 19:39 If ye goo aboute eny other thynge/ it maye be determined in a lawfull congregacyon. But yf ye goo aboute eny other thinge, it shall be determined in a lawfull congregation. If ye go about eny other thinge, it maye be determined in a lawfull congregacion. But yf ye go about any other thyng, it maybe determined in a lawful assemble.
19:40 For we are in ieopardy to be accused of this dayes busynes: for as moche as ther is no cause wherby we maye geue a rekenynge of thys concourse of people.
