Acts: Chapter 14b

14:1 ANd it fortuned in Iconium yt they wēt both to gether into ye synagoge of ye Iewes/ & so spake/ that a gret multitude both of ye Iewes & also of ye Grekes beleued. AND it fortuned in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagoge of the Iewes, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Iewes and also of the Grekes beleued. 14:2 But ye vnbeleuinge Iewſ/ steryd vp & vnquieted the myndes of ye gētyls agaynste ye brethrē. But the vnbelenynge Iewes, steryd vp, and vnquieted the myndes of the gentyls agaynste the brethren. 14:3 Longe tyme a bode they there & quyt thē selues boldly wyth ye helpe of the Lorde/ which gaue testimony vnto the worde of his grace/ & caused signes & wōdres to be done by their handes. 14:4 The people of the citie were deuyded: and parte helde wyth the Iewes/ and parte with the Apostles. 14:7 & there preached ye Gospell. and there preached the Gospell. {and allthe multitude was moued at their doctryne, but Paul and Barnabas taried still at Lystra) & there preached the Gospell. And there preached the Gospel.
14:8 And ther sate a certayne man at Lystra weake in his fete/ beynge creple frō his mothers wombe/ and neuer walkyd. 14:9 The same hearde Paul preache. Which behelde hym & perceaued that he had fayth to be whole/ The same hearde Paul preache. 14:10 and said with a loude voyce: stand vpright on thy fete. 14:11 And whē ye people sawe/ what Paul had done/ they lyfte vp their voyces/ sayinge in ye speache of Lycaonia: Goddes are come doune to vs in ye lyknes of mē. And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lyfte vp their voyces, sayinge in the speache of Lycaonia: Goddes are come downe to va in the lyknes of men. 14:12 And they called Barnabas Iupiter/ & Paul Mercurius/ because he was the preacher. And they called Barnabas Iupiter and Paul Mercurius, because he was the preacher, And they called Barnabas Iupiter, and Paul Mercurius, because he was the preacher. And they called Barnabas Iupiter: and Paul Mercurius, because he was the speaker.
14:13 Then Iupiters preste/ which dwelt before their citie/ brought oxen & garlandes vnto the churche porche/ & wolde haue done sacrifice with the people. 14:15 syrs/ why do ye this? We are mortall men like vnto you/ and preache vnto you/ that ye shulde turne from these vanyties vnto the lyuinge God/ which made heauē & erth & the see & all yt in thē is: and saying: syrs why do ye this? 14:17 Neuerthelesse he lefte not him selfe withoute wytnes/ in that he shewed hys benefites/ in geuynge vs rayne from heauē and frutefull ceasons/ fylling oure hertes wt fode/ & gladnes. 14:18 And with these sayinges/ scase refrayned they the people/ that they had not done sacrifyce vnto them. 14:19 Thyther came certayne Iewes frō Antioche and Iconium/ & obtayned the peoples cōsent/ & stoned Paul/ and drewe hym out of ye citie/ supposynge/ he had bene deed. Thy ther came certayne Iewes from Antioche and Iconium: which (whan they had obtayned the peoples consent and had stoned Paul) drew him out of the citie, supposynge he had bene deed. Thyther came certayne Iewes from Antioche and Iconium, and optayned the peoples cōsent, and stoned Paul, and drewe him oute of the cite, supposynge he had bene deed. Then ther came certayne Iewes from Antioche and Iconium, which when they had persuaded the people, stoned Paul, and drewe him out of the citie, supposing he had bene dead.
14:20 How be it as the disciples stode rounde about him he arose vp and came into the citie. And ye nexte daye he departed with Barnabas to Derba. Howbeit as the disciples stode rounde about him, he arose vp, and came into the cine. And the nexte daye he departed with Barosbas to Derba. 14:23 And they ordened them elders by eleccion in euery congregacion/ and prayde and fasted/ and cōmended thē to God on whom they beleued. And whan they had ordened them elders by election ‘n euery congregacion, and had prayde and fasted, they commended them to the Lord on whom they beleued. 14:25 and when they had preached the worde of God in Perga/ they descended in to Attalia/ and whan they had preached the worde in Perga, they descended in to the cite Attalia, and when they had preached the worde of God in Perga, they descended in to Attalia, And when they had preached the worde of God in Perga, they descended into Attalia.
14:26 & thence departed by shyppe to Antioche/ from whence they were delyuered vnto the grace of God/ to the worcke which they had fulfylled. and thence departed by shyppe to Antioche, from whence they were committed vnto the grace of God, to the worcke which they fulfilled. & thence departed by shippe to Antioche, from whence they were deliuered vnto the grace of God, to the worke which they had fulfilled. 14:27 Whē they were come & had gathered the congregacion to gether/ they rehersed all that God had done by them/ & how he had opened the dore of fayth vnto the Gentyls.
