Acts: Chapter 13b

13:1 THere were at Antioche/ in the congregacion certayne Prophetes & teachers: as Barnabas and Simō called Niger/ & Lucius of Cerene/ and Manahen Herode the Tetrarkes norsfelowe/ and Saul. THERE were in the congregacyon that is at Antioche, certayne Prophetes, and teachers: as Barnabas and Symon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cerene and Manahen, Herode the Tetrarkes norsfelowe, and Saul. 13:2 As they ministred to the Lorde & fasted/ the holy gost sayde: separate me Barnabas & Saul/ for the worke where vnto I haue called them. 13:4 And they after they were sent of the holy goost/ came vnto Seleutia/ and from thence they sayled to Cyprus. 13:5 And when they were come to Solamine/ they shewed the worde of God in the synagoges of ye Iewes. And they had Iohn to their minister. 13:6 When they had gone thorowout ye Yle vnto the citie of Paphos/ they founde a certayne sorcerer/ a false prophet which was a Iewe/ named Bariesu/ When they had gone thorowthe vie unto Paphos, they found a certayne sorcerer (a false prophet, a lewe) whose name was Bariesu, When they had gone thorowout the yle vnto the cite of Paphos, they founde a certayne sorcerer, a falce prophet which was a Iewe, named Bariesu, When thev had gone through out the Yle vnto the citie of Paphus, they founde acertayne sorcerer a false prophet, which was a Iewe, named Bariesus.
13:7 which was wyth ye ruler of the countre one Sergius Paulus a prudent man. The same ruler called vnto hym Barnabas and Saul/ & desyred to heare the worde of God. whych was wyth the ruler of the countre, one Sergius Paulus a prudent man. The same ruler called vnto hym Bamabas and Saul, and desyred to heare the worde of God: which was with the ruler of the countre one Sergius Paulus a prudent man. 13:8 But elymas the sorcerar (for so was his name by interpretaciō) withstode thē/ & sought to turne awaye the ruler from the fayth. 13:10 & sayde: O full of all sutteltye & disseytfulnes/ the chylde of the deuyll/ & ye enemye of all ryghteousnes/ thou ceasest not to peruert the strayght wayes of the Lord. and sayde: O full of all sutteltye and disseytfulnes, thou childe of the deuyll, thou enemye of all ryghteousnes: wylt thou not cease to peruert the strayght wayes of the lorde? and sayde: O full of all sutteltie and disseytfulnes, the chylde of the deuyll, & the enemye of all ryghteousnes, thou ceasest not to peruert the strayght wayes of the Lorde. 13:11 And nowe beholde the hande of the Lorde is vpō ye/ & thou shalt be blynde & not se ye sunne for a season. And immediatly ther fell on hym a myste & a darcknes/ & he wēt aboute sekinge thē that shuld leade him by the hande. And now beholde, the hande of the Lorde is vpon the, and thou shalt be blynde, and not se the sunne for a season. 13:12 Then ye rular whē he sawe what had happened/ beleued/ & wondred at the doctrine of the Lorde. Then the rular when he sawe what had happened beleued, and wondred at the doctryne of the Lorde. 13:13 When they that were with Paule/ were departed by shippe frō Paphus/ they came to Perga a citie of Pamphilia: and there Iohn departed from them/ and returned to Ierusalem. 13:14 But they wandred thorowe the countres frō Perga to Antioche a citie of the coūtrey of Pisidia/ and wēt into the sinagoge on the Saboth daye and sate doune. 13:15 And after the lawe and the Prophetes were redde/ the rulers of the synagoge sent vnto thē sayinge: Ye men and brethren/ yf ye haue eny sermon to exhorte the people/ saye on. And after the lecture of the lawe and the Prophetes, the rulers of the synagoge sent vnto them, sayinge: Ye men and brethren, yf ye haue eny sermon to exhorte the people, saye on. 13:16 Then Paul stode vp and beckened wyth the hande/ & sayde: Men of Israel/ & ye that feare God/ geue audience. Then Paul stode vp, and beckened wyth the hande for sylence, and savde: Men of Israel and ye that feare God, geue audience. 13:18 and about the tyme of .xl. yeares suffred he their maners in the wyldernes. and about the tyme of fourty yeares, suffred he their maners in the wyldernes. & aboute the tyme of .xl. yeares suffred he their maners in the wildernes. And about the tyme of fortie yeres, suffred he their maners in the wyldernes.
13:19 And he destroyed .vij. nacyons in the lande of Canaan/ and deuided their lande to them by lot. And he destroyed seuen nacyons in the lande of Canaan, and deuyded their lande to them by lot. 13:20 And after warde he gaue vnto thē iudges aboute the space of .iiij.C. and .l. yeres vnto the tyme of Samuel ye Prophet. And afterwarde he gaue vnto them iudges aboute the space of .iiii.C. and fyfty yeres, vnto the tyme of Samuel the Prophet. And after warde he gaue vnto them iudges aboute the space of .iiij.C. and .l. yeres vnto the tyme of Samuel the prophet. Then afterwarde he gaue vnto them Iudges, about the space of foure hundreth and fifty yeres, vnto the tyme of Samuel the Prophet.
13:21 And after that/ they desyred a kynge/ & God gaue vnto them Saul the sonne of Cis/ a man of the trybe of Beniamin/ by the space of .xl. yeres. And afterwarde, they desyred a kinge, and God gaue vnto them Saul the sonne of Cis, a man of the trybe of Beniamin, by the space of fourtye yeres. And after that, they desyred a kynge, and God gaue vnto them Saul the sonne of Cis, a man of the tribe of Beniamin, by the space of .xl. yeres. So after that, they desired a kyng, and God gaue vnto them Saul, the sonne of Cis, a man of the tribe of Beniamin, by the space of fourty yeres.
13:22 And after he had put hym doune/ he set vp Dauid to be their kynge/ of whome he reported sayinge: I haue founde Dauid the sonne of Iesse/ a man after myne awne hert/ he shall fulfyll all my wyll. And whan he was put doune, he set vp Dauid to be their kynge, of whom he reported sayinge: I haue founde Dauid the sonne of Iesse, a man after myne awne hert, which shall fulfyll all my wyll. 13:24 when Iohn had first preached before his cōmynge ye baptime of repentaūce to Israel. when Iohn had fyrst preached before his commynge the baptyme of repentaunce to Israel. when Iohn had fyrst preached before his commynge the baptime of repentaunce to Israel. When Iohn had fyrst preached before him that was euen commyng, the baptisme of amendement of lyfe to Israel.
13:25 And whē Iohn had fulfylled hys course/ he sayde: whome ye thinke that I am/ the same am I not. But beholde ther cometh one after me/ whose shewſ of his fete I am not worthy to lowse. And when Iohn had fulfylled hys course, he sayde: whom ye thynke that I am, the same am I not. But beholde, ther cometh one after me, whose shewes of his fete I am not worthy to loose. And when Iohn had fulfilled his course, he sayde: whome ye thinke that I am, the same am I not. But beholde ther cometh one after me, whose shewes of his fete I am not worthy to lowse. And when Iohn had fulfylled his course, he sayd, Whom ye thinke that I am, the same am I not, but behold there commeth one after me, whose shoe of his fete, I am not worthy to lowse.
13:26 Ye men & brethren/ chyldren of the generacion of Abraham/ & whosoeuer amōge you feareth God/ to you is this worde of saluacyō sent. 13:27 The inhabiters of Ierusalē and their rulers/ because they knew him not/ nor yet ye voyces of ye Prophetes whych are redde euery Saboth daye/ they haue fulfylled thē in condēpnynge him. 13:31 & he was sene many dayes of them whych came wyth hym from Galile to Ierusalem. 13:32 And we declare vnto you/ how that ye promes made vnto ye fathers/ And we declare vnto you, how that the promes (whych was made vnto the fathers) And we declare vnto you, how that the promes made vnto the fathers, And we declare vnto you, how that the promisse made vnto the fathers,
13:33 God hath fulfyled vnto vs their chyldrē/ in that he reysed vp Iesus agayne euen as it is wrytten in the fyrste psalme: Thou arte my sonne/ this same daye begat I the. God hath fulfylled vnto their chyldren (euen vnto vs) in that he revsed vp Iesus agayne: euen as it is wrvtten in the fyrste psalme: Thou art my sonne, this daye haue I begotten the. God hath fulfilled vnto vs their chyldren, in that he reysed vp Iesus agayne euen as it is written in the fyrste psalme: Thou arte my sonne, this same daye begat I the. God hath fulfylled vnto vs their children, in that he raysed vp Iesus, euen as it is written in the Becond Psalme, Thou art my Sonne, this day begat I thee.
13:34 As concerninge that he reysed him vp from deeth/ now no more to returne to corrupcyon/ he sayde on this wyse: The holy promyses made to Dauid/ I wyll geue thē faithfully to you. As concernynge that he reysed him vp from deeth, now no more to returne to corrupcyon, he sayd on this wyse: The holy promyses made to Dauid, wyll I geue faythfully to you. 13:35 Wherfore he saith also in another place. Thou shalt not suffre thine holye to se corrupciō. M Wherfore he sayth also, in another place: Thou shalt not sufire thyne holye to se corrupcyon. Wherfore he saith also in another place: Thou shalt not soffre thyne holye to se corrupcion. Wherfore he sayth also in another place, Thou shalt not suffre thyne Holy one to see corruption.
13:36 Howbeit Dauid after he had in hys tyme fulfylled the wyll of God he slepte/ & was layde with his fathers/ and sawe corrupciō. For Dauid (after he had in hys tyme fulfylled the wyll of God) fell on slepe, and was layde vnto hys fathers, and sawe corrupcyon. Howbeit Dauid after he had in his tyme fulfilled the will of God he slepte, & was layde with his fathers, and sawe corrupcion. Howbeit, Dauid after he had serued his tyme by the consel of God, he slept, and was layd with his fathers, and sawe corruption.

13:38 Be it knowne vnto you therfore ye men & brethren/ that thorow thys man is preached vnto you the forgeuenes of sinnes/ Be it knowne vnto you therfore (ye men and brethren) that thorow thya man is preached vnto you the forgeuenes of synnes, Be it knowne vnto you therfore ye men and brethren, that thorow this man is preached vnto you the forgeuenes of synnes, Be it knowen vnto you therefore men and brethren, that through this man, is preached vnto you the forgeuenes of shines, and that from all synnes, from which ye could not be iustified by the Lawe of Moses.
13:39 & that by him/ all that beleue/ are iustified frō all thinges from which ye coulde not be iustifyed by the lawe of Moses. and that by him, all that beleue, are iustifyed from all thynges, from whych ye coulde not be iustifyed by the lawe of Moses. and that by him, all that beleue, are iustified from all thinges from which ye coulde not be iustified by the lawe of Moses. By him euery one that beleueth is iustified.

13:41 Beholde ye despysers & wonder/ & perysshe ye: for I do a worke in youre dayes/ which ye shal not beleue/ yf a mā wolde declare it you. 13:42 Whē they were come out of ye Synagoge of the Iewes/ the Gentyls besought yt they wolde preache the worde to thē betwene the Saboth dayes. When the Iewes were gone out of the congregacyon, the Gentyls besought that they wolde preache the worde to them the nexte Saboth. When they were come out of the Synagoge of the Iewes, the Gentyls besought that they wolde preache the worde to them bitwene the Saboth dayes. When they were come out of the Synagoge of the Iewes, the Gentiles besoght, that they would preache these wordes to them the next Sabbath daye.
13:43 When the congregaciō was broken vp/ many of the Iewes and verteous cōuertes folowed Paul & Barnabas/ which spake to them & exhorted them to contynue in ye grace of God. 13:44 And ye nexte saboth daye came almoste ye whole citie to gether/ to heare the worde of God. And the nexte Saboth daye came almoste the whole citie together, to heare the worde of God. And the nexte saboth daye came almoste the whole cite to gether, to heare the worde of God. And the next Sabbath day, came almost the whole citie together, to heare the worde of God.
13:45 When the Iewes sawe the people/ they were full of indignaciō & spake agaynst those thinges which were spoken of Paul spekinge agaynst it/ & raylinge on it. 13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas wexed bolde/ and sayde: it was mete yt the worde of God shuld fyrst haue bene preached to you. But seynge ye put it from you/ & thinke youre selues vnworthy of euerlastinge lyfe: lo/ we turne to ye Gentyls: Then Paul and Barnabas wexed bolde, and sayde: it was mete that the worde of God shuld fyrst haue bene preached to you. 13:47 For so hath ye Lorde cōmaunded vs: I haue made the a lyght to ye Gentyls/ that thou be saluacion vnto ye ende of the worlde. For so hath the Lorde commaunded vs. I haue made the a lyght of the Gentyls, that thou be the saluacion vnto the ende of the worlde. 13:48 The gentyls hearde & were glad and glorifyed the worde of the Lorde/ & beleued: euē as many as were ordeyned vnto eternal life. Whan the gentyls hearde this, they were glad and glorifyed the worde of the Lorde, and beleued : euen as many as were ordeyned vnto eternal lyfe.
