Acts: Chapter 12b

12:1 IN that tyme Herode ye kynge stretched forth his hādſ to vexe certayne of the congregacyō. AT the same tyme Herode the kynge stretched forth his handes to vexe certayne of the congregacyon. 12:3 & because he sawe that it pleased the Iewes/ he proceded forther/ & toke Peter also. Then were the dayes of swete breed. 12:4 And whē he had caught him/ he put him in preson/ & delyuered him to .iiij. quaternions of soudyers to be kepte/ entendynge after ester to bringe him forth to ye people. 12:5 Then was Peter kepte in preson. But prayer was made wt out ceasynge of the congregacion/ vnto God/ for him. And Peter was kepte in preson. But prayer was made wythout ceasynge of the congregacyon, vnto God for him. Then was Peter kepte in preson. But prayer was made with out ceasynge of the congregacion vnto God, for him. Then was Peter kept in prison, but prayer was made with out ceasing of the Churche vnto God for tun.
12:6 And whē Herode wold haue brought hym oute vnto the people/ the same nyght slepte Peter bitwene two soudyers/ bounde with two chaynes/ and the kepers before the dore kepte the preson. And when Herode wold haue brought him oote vnto the people, the same nyght slepte Peter betwene two soudiers, bounde with two chaynes, and the kepers before the dore kepte the preson. 12:7 And beholde the angell of the Lorde was there present/ and a light shyned in the lodge. And he smote Peter on the syde/ & steryd hym vp sayinge: aryse vp quickly. And his cheynſ fell of from hys handes. And beholde, the angell of the Lorde was there present, and a lyght shyned in the habitacyon. And he smote Peter on the syde, and steryd him vp, sayinge: aryse vp quickly. And his cheynes fell of from his handes. 12:8 And the Angell sayd vnto hym: gyrde thy selfe and bynde on thy sandales. And so he dyd. And he sayde vnto hym: cast thy mantle aboute the/ and folowe me. And the Angell sayd vnto him: gyrde thy selfe, and bynde on thy Ban dales. And so he dyd. And he sayeth vnto him: cast thy garment aboute the, and folowe me. And the Angel sayd vnto him: gyrde thy selfe and bynde on thy sandales. And so he dyd. And he sayde vnto him: cast thy mantle aboute the, and folowe me. And the Angel sayd vnto hym, Gyrde thy selfe, and bynde on thy sandales. and so he dyd, and he sayd vnto hym, Cast thy garment about thee, and folowe me.
12:9 And he came oute and folowed hym/ and wist not/ that it was truthe whych was done by ye Angel/ but thought he had sene a visiō. And he came out and folowed him, and wist not, that it was trueth whych was done by the Angell, but thought he had sene a visyon. 12:10 When they were past the fyrst and the secōde watche/ they came vnto the yron gate/ that ledeth vnto the citie/ which opened to thē by his awne accorde. And they went out & passed thorowe one strete/ and by and by the Angell departed from hym. When they were past the fyrst and the seconde watch, they came vnto the yron gate, that leadeth vnto the cytye, which opened to them by the awne accorde. And they went out, and passed thorow one i and forth with, the Angell departed him. 12:11 And when Peter was come to hym selfe/ he sayde: now I knowe of a surety/ that the Lorde hath sent his Angel/ & hath delyuered me out of the hande of Herode/ & from all the waytyng for of ye people of the Iewes. And when Peter was come to hym selfe, he sayde: now I knowe of a surety, that the Lorde hath sent his Angell, and hath delyuered me out of the hande of Herode, and from all the wayting for of the people of the Iewes. And when Peter was come to him selfe, he sayde: now I knowe of a surety, that the Lorde hath sent his angel, & hath deliuered me out of the honde of Herode, and from all the waytyngfor of the people of the Iewes. And when Peter was come to hym selfe, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his Angel, and hath deliuered me out of the hand of Herode, and from all the wayting fore, of the people of the Iewes.
12:12 And as he consydred the thinge/ he came to ye house of Mary the mother of one Iohn/ which was called Marke also/ where many were gathered to gether in prayer. And as he consydred the thynge, he came to the house of Mary the mother of one Iohn (whose syrname was Marke) where many were gathered together in prayer. 12:17 And he beckened vnto thē wyth the hande/ to holde their peace/ and tolde them by what meanes ye Lorde had brought him oute of the preson. And he sayde: go shew these thinges vnto Iames & to the brethren. And he departed and went into a nother place. And whan he had beckned vnto them with the hande, that they myght holde their peace, he tolde them by what meanes the Lorde had brought him out of the preson. And he sayde: go shewe these thynges vnto lames and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place. And he beckened vnto them with the honde, to holde their peace, and tolde them by what meanes the Lorde had brought him oute of the preson. And he sayde: go shew these thinges vnto Iames and to the brethren. And he departed and went into a nother place. And he beckened vnto them, with the hand, to holde their peace, and tolde them by what meanes the Lord had broght him out of the prison. And he said, Go shewe these thinges vnto lames and to the brethren, and he departed and went into another place.
12:18 Assone as it was daye ther was no lyttell a do amōge the soudiers/ what was become of Peter. Assone as it was daye, ther was no lyttel ado amonge the soudiers, what was become of Peter. 12:19 When Herode had called for him/ and founde him not/ he examined the kepers/ and cōmaunded thē to departe. And he descended from Iewry to Cesarea/ and ther aboode. When Herode had sought for him, and founde him not, he examined the kepers, and commaunded them to be caryed awaye. And he descended from Iewry to Cesarea, and ther aboode. 12:20 Herode was displeased wyth them of Tyre and Sidon. And they came all at once/ and made intercession vnto Blastus the kynges chamberlen/ and desyred peace/ because their coūtrey was norysshed by the kinges lande. Herode was displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon. But they came all with one accord, and made intercession vnto Blastus the kynges chamberlayne, and desyred peace, because their countrey was norysshed by the kynges prouysyon. 12:21 And vpon a daye appoynted/ Herode arayed hym in royall apparell/ and set him in his seate/ & made an oracion vnto them. 12:25 And Barnabas & Paul returned to Ierusalem/ whē they had fulfylled their offyce/ & toke wyth thē Iohn/ which was also called Marcus.
