Acts: Chapter 11b

11:1 ANd the Apostles and the brethren that were thorowout Iewry/ harde saye that the hethen had also receaued the worde of God. AND the Aposdes and brethren that were in Iewry, heard that the Hethen had also receaued the worde of God. ANd the Apostles and the brethren that were thorowout Iewry, harde saye that the hethen had also receaued the worde of God. AND the Apostles and the brethren that were in Iewrie, heard say, that the Gentils had also receaued the worde of God.
11:2 And when Peter was come vp to Ierusalem/ they of the circumcision reasoned with him And when Peter was come vp to Ierusalem, they that were of the circuncisyon, contended agaynst him, And when Peter was come vp to Ierusalem, they of the circumcision reasoned with him And when Peter was come vp to Ierusalem, they of the Circumcision reasoned with hym,

11:5 I was in the cite of Ioppa prayinge/ and in a traunce I sawe a vision/ a certen vessell descende/ as it had bene a large lynnyn clothe/ let doune from heuen by the fower cornes/ and it cam to me. s I was in the cytye of Ioppa, prayinge: and in a traunce, I sawe a visyon, a certen vessell descende, as it had bene a greate shete, let downe from heauen by the fower corners, and it cam to me. I was in the cite of Ioppa prayinge, and in a traunce I sawe a vision, a certen vessell descende, as it had bene a large lynnyn clothe, let doune from heuen by the fower cornes, and it cam to me. I was in the citie of Ioppa praying, and in a traunce I sawe this vision, A certayne vessel descende, as it had bene a large lynnen cloth, let downe from heauen by the foure corners, and it came to me.
11:6 Into the which when I had fastened myne eyes/ I consydered and sawe fowerfoted beastes of the erth/ and vermen and wormes/ & foules of the ayer. Into the whych when I had fastened myne eyes, I consydered, and sawe fourefoted beastes of the erth, and vermen and wormes, and foules of the ayer. 11:8 And I sayd: God forbyd Lorde/ for nothinge comen or vnclene/ hath at eny tyme entred into my mouth. But I savd: not so Lorde, for nothynge comen or vncleane hath at eny tyme entred into mv mouth. And I sayd: God forbyd Lorde, for nothinge comen or vnclene, hath at eny tyme entred into my mouth. And I sayd, God forbyd Lord, for nothing comen or vnclene, hath at any tyme entred into my mouth.
11:9 But the voyce answered me agayne from heuen/ count not thou those thinges comen/ which God hath clensed. 11:11 And beholde immediatly ther were thre men come vnto the housse where I was sent from Cesarea vnto me. 11:12 And the sprete sayde vnto me/ that I shuld go with them/ with out doutynge. Morouer these sixe brethren accompanyed me: and we entred into the mans housse. And the sprete sayde vnto me, that I shuld go wyth them, without doutynge. Moreouer these syxe brethren accompanyed me: and we entred into the mans house. 11:13 And he shewed vs/ how he had sene an angel in his housse/ which stod and sayde to him: Send men to Ioppa/ and call for Simon/ named also Peter: And he shewed vs, how he had sene an Angel in hys house, whych stode and sayde to hym: send men to loppa, and call for Symon, whose syrname is Peter: And he shewed vs, how he had sene an angel in his housse, which stod and sayde to him: Send men to Ioppa, and call for Simon, named also Peter: And who shewed vs, how he had sene an Angel in his house, which stode and said to him, Send men to Ioppa, and call for Simon whose surname is Peter.
11:14 he shall tell the wordes/ wher by both thou and all thyne housse shalbe saued. he shall tell the wordes, wherby both thou and all thyne house shalbe saued. he shall tell the wordes, wher by both thou and all thyne housse shalbe saued. 11:15 And as I beganne to preache/ the holy goost fell on them/ as he dyd on vs at the beginnynge. And as I beganne to prcache, the holy goost fell on them, as he dyd on vs at the begynnynge. 11:16 Then came to my remembraunce the wordes of the Lorde/ how he sayde: Iohn baptised with water but ye shalbe baptised with the holy goost. Then came it to my remembraunce, how that the Lorde sayd: Iohn baptysed with water, but ye shalbe baptysed wyth the holy goost. Then came to my remembraunce the wordes of the Lorde, how he sayde: Iohn baptised with water but ye shalbe baptised with the holy goost. Then came to my remembrance that saying of the Lord, how he said, Iohn baptized with water, but ye shalbe baptized with the holy Gost.
11:17 For as moche then as God gaue them lyke gyftes/ as he dyd vnto vs/ when we beleued on the Lorde Iesus Christ: what was I/ that I shuld haue withstonde God? For as moch then as God gaue them lyke gyftes, as he dyd vnto vs, when we beleued on the Lorde Iesus Chryst: what was I, that I shulde haue withstande God? For as moche then as God gaue them lyke gyftes, as he dyd vnto vs, when we beleued on the Lorde Iesus Christ: what was I, that I shuld haue withstonde God? For as muche then as God gaue them a lyke gyfte, as he dyd vnto vs, when we beleued on the Lord Iesus Christe: who was I, that I shuld haue withstande God?
11:18 When they hearde this/ they helde their peace and glorified God/ sayinge: then hath God also to the Gentyls graunted repentaunce vnto lyfe. When they heard this, they helde their peace, and gloryfyed God, sayinge: then hath God also to the Gentyls graunted repentaunce vnto lyfe. 11:19 They which were scattryd abroade thorow the affliccion that arose aboute Steuen walked thorow oute tyll they came vnto Phenices and Cypers and Antioche preachynge the worde to no man/ but vnto the Iewes only. They also which were scattred abroade thorow the affliccyon that arose aboute Steuen, walked thorow out vnto Phenices and Cypers, and Antioche, preachinge the worde to no man, but vnto the Iewes onely They which were scattryd abroade thorow the affliccion that arose aboute Steuen walked thorow oute tyll they came vnto Phenices and Cypers and Antioche preachynge the worde to no man, but vnto the Iewes only. And they which were scatred abrode because of the affliction that arose about Steuen, walked throughout tyl they came vnto Phenice and Cyprus, and Antioche, preaching the worde to no man, but vnto the Iewes only.
11:20 Some of them were men of Cypers and Syrene/ which when they were come into Antioche/ spake vnto the Grekes/ and preched the Lorde Iesus. Some of them were men of Cypers and Syren: whych when they were come to Antioche, spake vnto the Grekes, and preached the Lorde Iesus. 11:21 And the honde of the Lorde was with them/ and a greate nombre beleued and turned vnto the Lorde. And the hande of the Lorde was with them, and a greate nombre beleued and turned vnto the Lorde. 11:22 Tydinges of these thinges came vnto the eares of the congregacion/ which was in Ierusalem. And they sente forth Barnabas that he shuld go vnto Antioche. 11:23 Which when he was come and had sene the grace of God/ was glad/ and exhorted them all/ that with purpose of hert/ they wolde continually cleaue vnto the Lorde. Whych when he came, and had sene the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that wyth purpose of hert, they wolde contynually cleaue vuto the Lord. 11:24 For he was a good man/ and full of the Holy goost and of faythe: and moche people was added vnto the Lorde. 11:26 And when he had founde him/ he brought him vnto Antioche. And it chaunsed that a whole yere they had their conuersacion with the congregacion there/ and taught moche people: in so moche that the disciples of Antioche were the fyrst that were called Christen. And when he had founde hym, he brought hym vnto Antioche. And it chaunsed that a whole yeare they had their conuersacyon with the congregacyon there, and taught moch people: in so moch, that the disciples of Antioche were the fyrst that were called Christen. And when he had founde hym, he broght hym vnto Antioche. and it chanced that a whole yere they had their conuersation with the Churche there, and taught muche people: inso muche, that the disciples of Antioche, were the fyrst that were called Christen.

11:28 And ther stode vp one of them named Agabus/ and signified by the sprete/ that ther shuld be great derth throughoute all the worlde/ which came to passe in the Emproure Claudius dayes. And ther stode vp one of them named Agabus, and signyfyed by the sprete, that ther shuld be great derth thorow out all the worlde, whych came to passe in the Emperour Claudius dayes. 11:29 Then the disciples euery man accordynge to his abylite/ purposed to sende socoure vnto the brethrē which dwelt in Iewry.
