1:1 PAul an Apostle of Iesu Christ/ by the will of god/ to preache the promes of lyfe/ which lyfe is in Christe Iesu. 1:2 To Timothe his beloved sōne Grace/ mercy/ ād peace/ frō god the father/ and from Iesus Christ oure lorde. To Timothe his beloved sonne. 1:4 desyrynge to se the/ myndfull off thy teares: so that I am filled with ioye/ desyrynge to se the/ myndfull of thy teares: so that I am filled with ioye/ desyringe to se the/ myndfull of thy teares: so that I am filled with ioye/ and longe to se the (whan I remembre thy teares) so that I am fylled with ioye,
1:5 when I call to remembraunce the vnfayned fayth that is in the/ which dwelt fyrst in thy graūmoder Lois/ and in thy mother Evnica: and am assuered that itt dwelleth in the also. whē I call to remembraunce the vnfayned fayth that is in the/ which dwelt fyrst in thy graūmoder Lois/ and in thy mother Eunica: and am assured that it dwelleth in the also. whē I call to remembraunce the vnfayned fayth that is in the/ which dwelt fyrst in thy graūdmother Lois/ and in thy mother Eunica: and am assure that it dwelleth in the also. whan I call to remembraunce the vnfayned faith that is in the, which dwelt first in thy graundemother Lois, and in thy mother Eunica: And am assured, that it dwelleth in ye also.
1:6 Wherfore I warne the that thou stere vppe the gyfte of god which is in the/ by the puttynge on of my hondes. 1:7 For god hath not geven to vs the sprete of feare: but of power/ and of love/ ād of honest behaveour. 1:8 Be not a shamed to testyfye of oure lorde/ nether be ashamed of me/ which am bounde for his sake: but suffre adversitie with the gospell also thorowe the power of god/ Be not a shamed to testyfye oure lorde/ nether be a shamed of me/ which am bounde for his sake: but suffre adversite with ye gospell also thorow ye power of god/ Be not ashamed to testifie oure Lorde/ nether be ashamed of me/ which am bounde for his sake: but suffre thou aduersitie also with the gospell/ thorow the power of God/ Be not thou asshamed therfore of ye testimony of or LORDE, nether of me, which am his presoner: but suffre thou aduersite also wt the Gospell, acordinge to the power of God
1:9 which saved vs/ and called vs with an holy callynge/ not after oure dedes/ but for his purpose and grace/ which grace was geven vs thorowe Christ Iesu before the worlde was/ which saved vs & called vs wt an holy callinge/ not acordinge to oure dedes/ but accordynge to his awne purpose and grace/ which grace was gevē vs thorowe Christ Iesu before the worlde was/ which saued vs/ and called vs with an holy callinge/ not accordinge to oure dedes/ but accordinge to his awne purpose & grace/ which grace was geuen thorowe Christ Iesu before the worlde was/ which hath saued vs, and called vs with an holy callynge: not acordinge to oure dedes, but acordinge to his owne purpose and grace, which was geuen vs in Christ Iesu before the tyme of the worlde,
1:10 but is nowe declared openly by the apearynge off oure savioure Iesu Christ/ which hath put awaye deeth/ and hath brought lyfe and immortalite vnto light thorowe the gospell/ but is nowe declared openly by ye appearynge of oure savioure Iesu Christ/ which hath put away deeth/ and hath brought lyfe & immortalite vnto light thorow the gospell/ but is now declared opēly by the appearinge of oure sauioure Iesu Christ which hath put awaye deeth/ & hath brought lyfe & immortalite vnto lyght thorow the gospell/ but is now declared openly by the appearynge of oure Sauioure Iesu Christ. Which hath taken awaye ye power of death, and hath brought life and immortalite vnto lighte, thorow the Gospell:
1:11 where vnto I am apoynted a preacher/ and an Apostle/ ād a teacher off the gentyls: whervnto I am apoynted a preacher/ and an Apostle/ & a teacher of the gentyls: wherūto I am apoynted/ a preacher and Apostle/ & a teacher of the gentyls: whervnto I am appoynted a preacher and an Apostell, and a teacher of the Heythen:
1:12 for the which cause I also suffre this. neverthelesse I am not a shamed. For I knowe whom I have beleved/ and am sure that he is able to kepe that which I have cōmitted to his kepynge agaynst that daye. for the which cause I also suffre these thinges. Neverthelesse I am not a shamed For I knowe whō I have beleved/ & am sure that he is able to kepe that which I have cōmitted to his kepynge/ agaynst that daye. for the which cause I also suffre these thinges. Neuerthelesse I am not ashamed. 1:13 Se thou have the ensāple of the holsome wordſ which thou herdest of me/ ī fayth ād love which is in Iesu Christ. Se thou have the ensample of the holsome wordes which thou heardest of me/ in fayth & love which is in Iesu Christ. Se thou haue the ensample of the holsome wordes which thou heardest of me in fayth & loue which is in Iesu Christ. Holde the after ye ensample of the wholsome wordes, which thou heardest of me, concernynge faith and loue in Christ Iesu.
1:14 That good thynge whiche was cōmitted to thy kepynge/ kepe ī the holy gost which dwelleth in vs. That good thinge/ whiche was committed to thy kepynge/ kepe in ye holy goost which dwelleth in vs. That good thinge/ which was cōmitted to thy kepinge/ kepe in the holy goost which dwelleth in vs. This hye charge kepe thou thorow the holy goost, which dwelleth in vs.
1:15 This thou knowest howe that all they which are in Asia be turned from me. of which sorte are Phigellos ād Hermogenes. This thou knowest/ how that all they which are in Asia/ be turned from me. 1:17 but when he was at Rome he sought me out very diligently/ and founde me. but when he was at Rome/ he sought me out very diligently/ and founde me. but when he was at Rome he sought me out very diligently/ and founde me. but whan he was at Rome he soughte me out very diligently, and founde me.
1:18 The lorde graunt vnto hī that he maye fynde mercie with the lorde at that daye. And in howe many thingſ he ministred vnto me at Ephesus thou knowest very wele. The lorde graunt vnto him that he maye fynde mercie with the lorde at that daye. And in how many thynges he ministred vnto me at Ephesus thou knowest very wel. The Lorde graunt vnto him that he maye fynde mercye with the Lorde at that daye. And in how many thinges he ministred vnto me at Ephesus thou knowest very well. The LORDE graunte vnto him, that he maye fynde mercy with the LORDE in that daye. And how moch he mynistred vnto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.
