2 Peter: Chapter 1b

1:1 Simon Peter a seruaūt & an Apostle of Iesus Christ/ to them which haue obtayned lyke precious fayth with vs in the rightewesnes that commeth of oure god and sauioure Iesus Christ. 1:2 Grace with you/ & peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Iesus oure Lorde Grace be vnto you, and be multiplyed thorow the knowledge of God and of Iesus oure Lorde. Grace with you, & peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Iesus oure Lorde Grace to you, and peace be multiplied by the knowledge of God and of Iesus our Lord.
1:3 Accordinge as his godly power hath geuen vnto vs all thinges that pertayne vnto lyfe and and godlynes thorow the knowledge of him that hath called vs by vertue and glory/ Accordynge as his godly power hath geuen vntovs all thing that pertayne vnto lyfe and godlyne, thorow the knowledge of him that hath called vs by glory, and vertue, Accordinge as his godly power hath geuen vnto vs all thinges that pertayne vnto lyfe and and godlynes thorow the knowledge of him that hath called vs by vertue and glory, Accordyng as his godlv power hath geuen vnto vs all thinges that pertayne vnto lyfe and godlynes, through the knowledge of him that hath called vs vnto glorie and vertue.
1:4 by the meanes wherof are geuen vnto vs excellent and moste greate promyses/ that by the helpe of them ye shulde be partetakers of the godly nature/ in that ye flye the corrupcion of worldly lust. by the whych are geuen vnto vs excellent and moste greate promyses, that by themean therof ye myght be partakers of the god. nature, yf ye flye the corrupcyon worldly lust. by the meanes wherof are geuen vnto vs excellent and moste greate promyses, that by the helpe of them ye shulde be partetakers of the godly nature, in that ye flye the corrupcion of worldly lust. In that, that moste great, and precious promesses, are geuen vnto vs, that by them, ye shoulde be partakers of the godly nature, in that ye five the corruption, which is in the world through lust.

1:6 and in knowledge temperance/ and in temperācy paciēce/ in pacience godlynes/ in knowledge temperaun in temperaunce pacience: in pacito godlynes, and in knowledge temperance, and in temperācy paciēce, in pacience godlynes, And with knowledge temperance, and with temperance patience, agayne with patience godlynes,
1:7 in godlynes brotherly kyndnes/ in brotherly kyndnes loue. in godlynes brotherly kynd. nes, in brotherly kyndnes loue. in godlynes brotherly kyndnes, in brotherly kyndnes loue. And with godlynes brotherly kindnes, and with brotherly kyndnes, loue.
1:8 For yf these thinges be amōge you and are plenteous/ they wyll make you that ye nether shalbe ydle nor vnfrutefull in the knowledge of oure lorde Iesus Christ. For y: these thynges be amonge you, and be plenteous, they wyll make you that yeo. ther shalbe ydle nor vnfrutefull in the knowledge of oure Lorde Iesus Chno For yf these thinges be amōge you and are plenteous, they wyll make you that ye nether shalbe ydle nor vnfrutefull in the knowledge of oure lorde Iesus Christ. For if these thinges be among you, and are plenteous, they wyl make you that ye nether shalbe ydle, nor vnfrutefull in the knowledge of our Lord Iesus Christ.
1:9 But he that lacketh these thinges/ is blinde & gropeth for the waye with his honde/ and hath forgotten that he was pourged from his olde synnes. But he that lacketh these thynges blynde and gropeth for the waye wyth his hande, and hath forgotten, that he was pourged from hys olde synnes. For he that lacketh these thinges, is blind, and can not see far off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from old sins.
1:10 Wherfore brethren/ geue the moare diligence for to make youre callinge & eleccion sure. For yf ye do soche thinges ye shall neuer erre. Wherfore brethren, geue the more diligence for to make your calling and eleccyon sure (by good workes) For yf ye do sochthynges, ye shall neuer fall. Wherfore brethren, geue the moare diligence for to make youre callinge & eleccion sure. For yf ye do soche thinges ye shall neuer erre. Wherfore brethren, geue rather diligence for to make your callyng and election sure: for yf ye do these thinges, ye shal ncuer fall.
1:11 Ye & by this meanes an entringe in shall be ministred vnto you aboundantly in to the euerlastinge kyngdome of oure Lorde and sauioure Iesus Christ. Yee and by this meanes an entrynge in shal be mynistred vnto you aboundantly into the euerlastyng kyngdome of oure Lorie and sauioure Iesus Christ. Ye & by this meanes an entringe in shall be ministred vnto you aboundantly in to the euerlastinge kyngdome of oure Lorde and sauioure Iesus Christ. For by this raeanes an entring in shalbe ministred >-nto you abundantly into the euerlasting kyngdoroe of our Lord and Sauiour Iesua Christ.
1:12 Wherfore I will not be necgligent to put you all wayes in remembraunce of soche thinges/ though that ye knowe them youre selues & be also stablisshed in the present trueth. Wherfore, I wyll not be neglygent to put you all wayes in remembraunce of sochthynges though ye knowethem yout selues, and be stablisshed in the present trueth. Wherfore I will not be necgligent to put you all wayes in remembraunce of soche thinges, though that ye knowe them youre selues & be also stablisshed in the present trueth. Wherfore, I wil not be negligent to put you alwayes in remembrance of these thinges, thogh that ye knowe wel, and be stablished in the present truth.

1:14 for as moche as I am sure how that the tyme is at honde that I must put of my tabernacle/ euen as oure Lorde Iesus Christ hath shewed me. for as moch, as I am sure, that shortly I must put of thys my tabernacle, euen as oure Lorde Iesus Christ shewed me. for as moche as I am sure how that the tyme is at honde that I must put of my tabernacle, euen as oure Lorde Iesus Christ hath shewed me. Seing I knowe that the tyme is at hande that I must lay downe this my tabernacle, euen as our Lord Iesus Christ hath shewed me.
1:15 I will enfoarce therfore/ that on euery side ye might haue wherwith to stere vp the remembraunce of these thinges after my departinge. I I wyll euer also geue my diligence, that ye maye haut wherwyth to stere vp the remembrance of these thinges after my departyng. 1:16 For we folowed not deceuable fables whē we openned vnto you the power & comminge of oure Lorde Iesus Christ/ but with oure eyes we sawe his maieste: For we haue not folowed deceatfull fables, when we opened vnto you the power and commynge of oure Lorde Iesus Christ, but wyth our eyes we sawe his majestie; For we folowed not deceuable fables whē we openned vnto you the power & comminge of oure Lorde Iesus Christ, but with oure eyes we sawe his maieste: For we folowed not deceuable fables when we opened vnto you the power and commyng of our Lord Iesus Christ, but with our eyes we saw
1:17 euen then verely when he receaued of god the father honour & glory/ and when ther came soche a voyce to him from excellent glorie. 1:18 This voyce we hearde when it came from heauen/ beynge with him in the holy mounte. This voyce we hearde come from heauen, whan we were wyth hym, in the ho mounte. 1:19 We haue also a ryght sure worde of prophesie whervnto yf ye take hede/ as vnto a lyght that shyneth in a darcke place/ ye do well/ vntyll the daye dawne & the daye starre aryse in youre hertes We haue also a ryght sure worde of prophecye, wher vnto yf ye take hede, as vnto a lyght that shyneth in a darcke place, ye do well, vntyll the daye dawne, and the daye starre aryse in youre hertes. 1:20 So that ye fyrst knowe this: that no prophesie in the scripture hath eny priuate interpretacion. 1:21 For the scripture came neuer by the will of man: but holy men of god spake as they were moued by the holy goost.
