2 Corinthians: Chapter 12b

12:1 It is not expedient for me no dout to reioyce. Neuerthelesse I will come to visions and reuelacions of the Lorde. Doutlese. it is not expedient for me to boast I »il come to visions and reuelacions of tie Lorde. It is not expedient for me no dout to reioyce. Neuerthelesse I will come to visions and reuelacions of the Lorde. IT is not expedient for me no dout, to reioyce: neuerthelesse, I wil come to visions and reuelations of the Lord.
12:2 I knowe a man in Christ aboue .xiiij. yeares agone (whether he weare in the body I cannot tell/ or whether he were oute of the body I cannot tell (God knoweth) which was takē vp in to the thyrd heauē. knowe a man in Christ, aboae .xiiii. yeares ago (whether he were in the body I can not tell, or whether he were out of the body I can not tell, God knoweth) how that he was taken vp into the thyrd heauen. I knowe a man in Christ aboue .xiiij. yeares agone (whether he weare in the body I cannot tell, or whether he were oute of the body I cannot tell (God knoweth) which was takē vp in to the thyrd heauē. I knowe a man in Christe, aboue fourtene yeres agone, (whether he were in the body I can not tel. or whether he were out of the body I can not tel: God knoweth) which was taken vp into the thyrde heauen:
12:3 And I knowe the same mā (whether in the body/ or out of the body/ I cannot tell God knoweth) And I knowe the same man (whether in the body, or out of the body. I cannot tell, God knoweth, And I knowe the same mā (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell God knoweth) And I knowe such a man (whether in the body, or out of the body, I can not tell, God knoweth.
12:4 how that he was taken vp into Paradise/ and hearde wordes not to be spoken/ which no man can vtter. ho« that he was taken vp in to Paradyse, heard secret wordes, which no man on vtter. how that he was taken vp into Paradise, and hearde wordes not to be spoken, which no man can vtter. 12:5 Of this mā will I reioyce/ of my selfe will I not reioyce/ except it be of myne infirmities. Of this man will I boast, but of my selfe will I not boast, except it be of myne infirmities: Of this mā will I reioyce, of my selfe will I not reioyce, except it be of myne infirmities. Of suche a man wyl I reioyce, of my selfe wyl I not reioyce, except it be of mine infirmities.
12:6 And yet though I wolde reioyce/ I shulde not be a fole: for I wolde saye the trouthe. Neuerthelesse I spare/ lest eny man shulde thinke of me aboue that he seith me to be/ or heareth of me. For though I bout. I shall not be a foole, for I wolde wre the trouth. Neuerthelesse, I spare yon: lest eny man shulde thinke of me, aboue that which he seith me to be, or that he heareth of me. And yet though I wolde reioyce, I shulde not be a fole: for I wolde saye the trouthe. Neuerthelesse I spare, lest eny man shulde thinke of me aboue that he seith me to be, or heareth of me. And thogh I would reioyce, I should not be a fole: for I wil say the trueth. but I refraine, lest any man should thynke of me aboue that he seyth me to be, or heareth of me.
12:7 And lest I shuld be exalted out of measure thorow the aboundance of reuelacions/ ther was geuen vnto me vnquyetnes of the flesshe/ the messenger of Satan to buffet me: be cause I shulde not be exalted out of measure. And lest I shuld be exalted out of measure thorow the excellencye of the rentlacyons: ther was geuen vnto me Tquyetnes thorow the flesshe, euen the messenger of Satan to buffet me: because I shulde not be exalted out of measure And lest I shuld be exalted out of measure thorow the aboundance of reuelacions, ther was geuen vnto me vnquyetnes of the flesshe, the messenger of Satan to buffet me: be cause I shulde not be exalted out of measure. And lest I should be exalted out of measure through the abundance of reuelations, there was geuen vnto me a pricke in the fleshe, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, because I should not be exalted out of measure.
12:8 For this thinge besought I the Lorde thryse/ that it myght departe from me. For this thinge besought I the Lorie thryse, that it myght departe from me. 12:9 And he sayde vnto me: my grace is sufficient for the. For my strēght is made parfaict thorow weaknes. Very gladly therfore will I reioyce of my wekknes/ that the strength of Christ maye dwell in me. And he sayd vnto me : my grace is efficient for the. For my strength is made perfayct thorow weaknes, Uery ekdl? therfore wil I reioyce of my weknes. th» the strength of Christ maye dwell in me And he sayde vnto me: my grace is sufficient for the. For my strēght is made parfaict thorow weaknes. Very gladly therfore will I reioyce of my wekknes, that the strength of Christ maye dwell in me. And he sayd vnto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect through weakenes. Very gladly therefore wil I reioyce rather in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
12:10 Therfore haue I delectacion in infirmities/ in rebukes/ in nede/ in persecucions/ in anguysshe/ for Christes sake. For when I am weake/ then am I stronge. Therfore haue I delectacyon in infirmities, in rebukes, in nede, in persecuoons in anguysshes for Christes sake: For when I am weake, then am I stronge. Therfore haue I delectacion in infirmities, in rebukes, in nede, in persecucions, in anguysshe, for Christes sake. For when I am weake, then am I stronge. Therfore I take pleasure in infirmites, in rebukes, in nede, in persecutions, in anguyshe for Christes sake, for when I am weake, then am I stronge.
12:11 I am made a fole in bostinge my selfe. Ye haue cōpelled me: I ought to haue bene commended of you. For in nothinge was I inferior vnto the chefe Apostles/ though I be nothinge/ I am become a foole in boastinge my selfe. Ye haue compelled me : For I ought to haue bene commended of you. For in nothinge was I inferior vnto the chefe Apostles, though I be nothynge, I am made a fole in bostinge my selfe. Ye haue cōpelled me: I ought to haue bene commended of you. For in nothinge was I inferior vnto the chefe Apostles, though I be nothinge, I was a fole to boast my self, ye haue compelled me: for I oght to haue bene commended of you: for in nothing was I inferior vnto the chiefe Apostles, thogh I be nothing.
12:12 yet the tokens of an Apostle were wrought amonge you with all pacience/ with signes/ & wonders/ & mighty dedes. yet the tokens of an Apostle were wrought amonge you with all pacience, and signes and wonders, and mighty dedes. yet the tokens of an Apostle were wrought amonge you with all pacience, with signes, & wonders, & mighty dedes. 12:13 For what is it wherin ye were inferiors vnto other congregacions except it be therin that I was not greuous vnto you. Forgeue me this wronge done vnto you. For what is it, wherin ye were inferior! vnto other congregations, except it be herin, that I was not chargeable vnto yonForgeue me this wronge. 12:14 Beholde now the thyrde tyme I am redy to come vnto you: and yet wyll I not be greuous vnto you. For I seke not youres/ but you. Also the chyldren ought not to laye vp for the fathers and mothers: but the fathers and mothers for the chyldren. Behold, now the thirde tyme I am ready to come vnto you: and yet wyll I not be chargeable vnto you. For I seke not youres, oat you. For the chyldren ought not to l»ye vp for the fathers and mothers but the fathers and mothers for the children. Beholde now the thyrde tyme I am redy to come vnto you: and yet wyll I not be greuous vnto you. For I seke not youres, but you. Also the chyldren ought not to laye vp for the fathers and mothers: but the fathers and mothers for the chyldren. Beholde now the thirde tyme I am ready to come vnto you, and yet wyl I not be chargeable vnto you: for I seke not yours, but you. for the chyldren oght not to laye vp for the fathers: but the fathers for the chyldren.
12:15 I will very gladly bestowe/ & wilbe bestowed for youre soules: though the moare I loue you/ the lesse I am loued agayne. I will very gladly bestowe, and wilhf bestowed for youre soules: though the moare I loue you, the lesse I am loued agayne. 12:16 But be it that I greued you not: neuerthelesse I was crafty and toke you with gile. But be it that I was not chargeable vnto you: neuerthelesse whan I wis crafty, I toke you with gile. But be it that I greued you not: neuerthelesse I was crafty and toke you with gile. But be it that I charged you not: yet forasmuche as I was crafty, I toke you with gile.

12:18 I desyred Titus/ and with him I sent a brother. Dyd Titus defraude you of eny thinge? walked we not in one sprete? walked we not in lyke steppes? I desyred Titus, and with him I sent a brother. 12:19 Agayne thinke ye that we excuse our selues? We speake in Christ in the syght of God. But we do all thinges dearly beloued for youre edifyinge. 12:20 For I feare lest it come to passe/ that when ye come/ I shall not fynde you soche as I wolde: and I shalbe founde vnto you soche as I wolde not: I feare lest ther be founde amōge you debate/ enuyinge/ wrath stryfe/ backbytinges/ whysperinges/ swellinges & discorde. For I feare, lest it come to passe, that when I come, I shall not fynde you soche as wolde: and that I shalbe founde vnto yoa. soche as ye wolde not: I feare, lest ther be founde amonge you debate, enuyingtwrath, stryfe, backbytinges.why-speryugf’ swellinges and discorde. For I feare lest it come to passe, that when ye come, I shall not fynde you soche as I wolde: and I shalbe founde vnto you soche as I wolde not: I feare lest ther be founde amōge you debate, enuyinge, wrath stryfe, backbytinges, whysperinges, swellinges & discorde. 12:21 I feare lest when I come agayne/ God bringe me lowe amonge you/ and I be constrayned to bewayle many of thē which haue synned all redy/ and haue not repented of the vnclennes/ fornicacion and wantannes which they haue committed. I feare, lest when I come agayne, God brings me lowe amonge you, and I be constrayned to bewayle many of them which haue synned all ready, and haue not repented of the vnclennes: and fornicacion and wantannes which they haue committed. I feare lest when I come agayne, God bringe me lowe amonge you, and I be constrayned to bewayle many of thē which haue synned all redy, and haue not repented of the vnclennes, fornicacion and wantannes which they haue committed. I feare lest when I come agayne, my God bring me lowe among you, and I be constrayned to bewayle many of them which haue svnned already, and haue not repented of the vnclennes, fornication and wantonnes, which they haue committed.
