1:3 Blessed be god the father of oure lorde Iesus Christ the/ father of mercy/ ād the god of all cōforte/ Blessed be God ye father of oure Lorde Iesus Christ/ the father of mercy/ & the God of all comforte/ Blessed be God the father of oure Lorde Iesus Christ/ the father of mercy/ and the God of all comforte/ Blessed be God the father of oure LORDE Iesus Christ, the father of mercy and ye God of all comforte,
1:4 which comforteth vs in all oure tribulacion/ insomoche that we are able to comforte them which are troubled/ in what soever tribulacion it be/ with the same comforte wher with we oure selves are cōforted of god. which comforteth vs in all oure tribulaciō/ in so moche yt we are able to cōforte them which are troubled/ in whatsoever tribulacion it be/ with the same comforte wher with we oure selves are cōforted of God. which comforteth vs in all oure tribulacion/ in so moche that we are able to comforte them which are troubled/ in whatsoeuer tribulacion it be/ with the same comforte wherwith we oure selues are comforted of God. which comforteth vs in all oure trouble: in so moch yt we are able to comforte them that are in eny maner of trouble, with the same comforte wher with we oure selues are comforted of God.
1:5 For as the affliccions of Christ are plenteous in vs: even so is oure cōsolacion plenteous by Christ. For as ye afflicciōs of Christ are plēteous in vs evē so is oure consolaciō plenteous by Christ. For as the affliccions of Christ are plenteous in vs/ euen so is oure consolacion plenteous by Christ. For as the afflicciōs of Christ are plenteous in vs, euen so is or cōsolacion plenteous by Christ.
1:6 Wheter we be troubled for your consolacion/ and helth/ which helth sheweth her power in that ye soffre the same afflicciōs which we also suffre: or whether we be comforted for youre consolacion ād helth: Whether we be troubled for youre consolacion & salvaciō/ which salvacion sheweth her power in yt ye soffre ye same afflicciōs which we also suffre: or whether we be cōforted for youre consolacion & salvacion: Whether we be troubled for youre consolacion and saluacion/ which saluacion sheweth her power in that ye soffre the same affliccions which we also suffre: or whether we be comforted for youre consolacion and saluacion: But whether we haue trouble or comforte, it is done for youre welth. Yf it be trouble, it is done for youre cōforte and health, which health sheweth hir power, in that ye suffre the same affliccions which we suffre. Yf it be comforte, it is done also for youre comforte and health.
1:7 yet oure hope is stedfast for you in asmoch as we knowe howe that as ye have youre parte in affliccions/ so shall ye be part takers of consolacion. yet oure hope is stedfast for you/ in as moch as we know how that as ye have youre parte in afflicciōs/ so shall ye be parttakers of consolacion. yet oure hope is stedfast for you/ in as moch as we know how that as ye haue youre parte in affliccions/ so shall ye be parttakers of consolacion. Therfore is oure hope fast for you, in as moch as we knowe, that, like as ye are partakers of the afflicciōs, so shal ye be partakers also of the consolacion.
1:8 Brethren I wolde not have you ignoraunt of oure trouble/ which happened vnto vs in Asia. For we were greved out of measure passynge strengthe/ so greatly that we despaered even off lyfe. Brethren I wolde not have you ignoraūt of oure trouble/ which happened vnto vs in Asia. For we were greved out of measure passynge strength/ so greatly that we despeared even of lyfe. But this was done, because we shulde not put oure trust in oure selues, but in God, which rayseth vp the deed to life agayne:
1:10 Which delivered vs from so grett a deeth/ ād doth delivre/ on whom we trust/ that yet here after he will delivre vs/ and which delivered vs from so gret a deeth/ and doth delivre. On whom we trust/ yt yet here after he will deliver/ & which deliuered vs from so gret a deeth/ and doth deliuer. On whom we trust/ that yet here after he will deliuer/ which delyuered vs from so greate a death, and yet delyuereth daylie, On whom we trust, that he wil delyuer vs here after also,
