6:1 LEt as many servauntſ as are vnder the yoke counte their masters worthy of all honour/ that the name of god/ ād his doctrine be not evyll spoken off. 6:2 Se that they which have belevynge masters despyse them nott be cause they are brethren: but so moche the rather do service/ for as moche as they are belevynge and beloved and part takers of the benefite. 6:3 These thyngſ teache and exhorte. Yf eny man teache other wyse/ ād is not contēt with the wholsome wordes of the lorde Iesu Christ/ and with the doctrine off godlines/ These thynges teache and exhorte. 6:4 he is pufte vpp and knoweth nothynge: but wasteth his braynes aboute questions/ and stryfe off wordſ/ wheroff sprynge envie/ stryfe/ realīgſ/ evyll surmysingſ he is pufte vp & knoweth nothynge: but wasteth his braynes aboute questions & stryfe of wordes/ wherof sprynge envie/ stryfe/ raylinges/ evyll surmysinges he is pufte vp & knoweth nothinge: but wasteth his braynes about questions & stryfe of wordes wherof springe enuye/ stryfe/ raylinges/ euyll surmisinges he is puft vp, and knoweth nothinge, but waysteth his brayne aboute questions and stryuynges of wordes: wherof sprynge envye, stryfe, raylinges, euell surmysinges,
6:5 superfluus disputyngſ in scolus of mē with corrupte myndes/ ād destitute of the trueth/ which thynke that lucre is godlines. From soche seperate thy silfe. and vayne disputacions of men with corrupte myndes and destitute of the trueth/ which thynke that lucre is godlines. 6:6 Godlines is great ryches/ yf a man be contēt with that he hath. Godlines is great ryches/ yf a man be content with that he hath. Godlynes is greate riches/ yf a man be content with that he hath. Howbeit it is greate avaūtage, who so is godly, and holdeth him content with that he hath.
6:7 For we brought nothynge into the worlde/ and it is a playne case that we can cary nothynge out. For we brought nothynge into the worlde/ and it is a playne case that we can cary nothynge out. 6:9 They that wilbe ryche/ faule into temptacion/ and snares/ and into many folysshe and noysome lustes/ which droune men in perdicion/ and destrucciō. 6:10 For coveteousnes is the rote of all evyll/ which whill some lusted after/ they erde from the feyth/ ād tanglyd them selves with many sorowes. 6:12 Fyght a good fyght of fayth. Laye honde on eternall lyfe/ where vnto thou arte called/ and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Fyght ye good fyght of fayth. 6:14 that thou kepe the cōmaundement with out spott/ so that noman fynde faute wyth the/ vntyll the aperynge of oure lorde Iesus Christ/ yt thou kepe the cōmaundemēt/ & be with out spotte and vnrebukeable/ vntyll the apperynge of oure lorde Iesus Christ/ that thou kepe the commaundement/ & be without spotte & vnrebukeable/ vntyll the apperinge of oure lorde Iesus Christ/ that thou kepe the commaundement, without spot, vnreproueable, vntyll the appearynge of oure LORDE Iesus Christ,

6:16 which only hath immortalitie/ and dwelleth in light thatt no man cā obtayne/ whom never man sawe/ nether can se: vnto whom be honoure ād rule everlastynge Amen. which only hath immortalite/ and dwelleth in light that no man can attayne/ whom never man sawe/ nether can se: vnto whom be honoure and rule everlastynge. 6:19 layinge vppe in store for them selves/ a good foundacion agaynst the tyme to come/ that they maye obtayne eternall lyfe. layinge vp in store for them selves a good foundaciō agaynst the tyme to come yt they maye obteyne eternall lyfe layinge vp in store for them selues a good foundacion agaynst the tyme to come that they maye obtayne eternall lyfe. gatherynge vp treasure for them selues, a good foundacion, agaynst ye tyme to come, that they maye laye honde on eternall life.
