1 Timothy: Chapter 5b

5:1 REbuke not an elder: but exhorte him as a father/ & the yonger men as brethren/ REBUKE not an elder: t ahorte him as a father: the yonger rott L brethren: REbuke not an elder: but exhorte him as a father, & the yonger men as brethren, REBUKE not an elder, but exhort him as a father: and the yonger men as brethren.

5:4 Yf eny wyddowe haue childrē or neues/ let thē learne fyrst to rule their awne houses godly & to recōpense their elders. For that is good & acceptable before God. 5:5 She that is a very wyddowe and frendlesse/ putteth her trust in God/ and continueth in supplicacion and prayer nyght and daye. 5:7 And these thinges commaunde/ that they maye be without faute. And suche thynges commaunde/ that they maye be without faut. And these thinges commaunde, that they maye be without faute. These thinges therfore commande, that they may be wythout faut.
5:8 Yf ther be eny that prouideth not for his awne/ and namely for them of his housholde/ the same denyeth the fayth/ and is worsse then an infidell. 5:10 and well reported of in good workes: yf she haue norisshed chyldren/ yf she haue bene liberall to straūgers/ yf she haue wesshed the saynctes fete/ yf she haue ministred vnto them which were in aduersitie/ yf she were continually geuē vnto all maner good workes. and well reported off in good workes: yf she have noressed children/ yf she have bene liberall to straungers/ yf she have wesshed the saynctes fete/ yf she have ministred vnto them which were in adversitie/ yf she were continually geven vnto all maner good workes. and well reported of in good workes: yf she haue norisshed chyldren, yf she haue bene liberall to straūgers, yf she haue wesshed the saynctes fete, yf she haue ministred vnto them which were in aduersitie, yf she were continually geuē vnto all maner good workes. 5:11 The yonger wyddowes refuse. For when they haue begone to wexe wantone/ to the dishonoure of Christ/ then will they mary/ The yonger widdowes refuse. 5:13 And also they learne to go from housse to housse ydle ye not ydle only/ but also tryflinge and busybodyes/ speakinge thinges which are not comly. 5:16 And yf eny man or woman that beleueth haue widdowes/ let them minister vnto them/ & let not the congregacion be charged: that ye maye haue sufficiēt for them that are wyddowes in dede. And yf eny man or woman that beleueth haue widdowes, let them minister vnto them, & let not the congregacion be charged: that ye maye haue sufficiēt for them that are wyddowes in dede. And yf any man or woman that beleueth haue wyddowes, let them minister vnto them, and let not the Churche be charged, that ye may haue sufficient for them that are wyddowes in dede.
5:17 The elders that rule well/ are worthy of double honoure/ most specially they which laboure in the worde & in teaching. The seniours that rule wele are worthy of double honoure/ most specially they which laboure in the wordeand in teachynge. 5:18 For the scripture sayth: thou shalt not mousell the mouth of the oxe that treadeth out the corne. And the labourer is worthy of his rewarde. 5:19 Agaynst an elder receaue none accusacion: but vnder two or thre witnesses. Agaynst a senioure receave none accusacion: but vnder two or thre witnesses. 5:21 I testifie before God and the Lorde Iesus Christ & the electe angels/ that thou obserue these thinges with out hasty iudgemēt/ & do nothinge parcially. 5:25 Lykwise also good workes are manifest before hōde & they that are other wyse/ cānot be hyd. wyse also good workes are manifest fore hande, and they that are other »t cannot be hyd. Lykwise also good workes are manifest before hōde & they that are other wyse, cānot be hyd. Likewyse also good workes are manifeste before hande, and they that are other wise, can not be hid.
