2:1 I ex horte therfore that above all thyngſ prayeers/ supplicacions/ peticions/ and gevynge of thankſ/ behad for all men: I Exhorte therfore/ that above all thynges/ prayers/ supplicacions intercessions/ and gevynge of thankes behad for all men: I Exhorte therfore/ that aboue all thinges/ prayers/ supplicaciōs/ intercessiōs and geuinge of thankes be had for all men: I Exhorte therfore, yt aboue all thinges, prayers, supplicacions, intercessions and geuynge of thākes be had for all men
2:2 for kyngſ/ and for all thatt are in preeminēce/ thatt we maye live a quyet and a peasable life/ in all godlines and honestie. for kynges/ and for all that are in auctorite/ that we maye live a quyet and a peasable life/ in all godlines and honestie. for kynges and for all that are in auctorite/ that we maye liue a quyet & a peasable life/ in all godlines and honestie. for kynges, and for all that are in auctorite, that we maye lyue a quyete & peaceable life in all godlynes and honestie.
2:3 For that is good and accepted in the sight of god oure savioure/ For that is good and accepted in the sight of god oure savioure/ For that is good and accepted in the syght of God oure sauiour/ For that is good and accepted in ye sighte of God oure Sauioure,
2:4 which wolde have all men saved/ and to come vnto the knowledge of the trueth. which will have all men saved/ and to come vnto the knowledge of ye trueth. which will haue all men saued/ & to come vnto the knowledge of the trueth. which wil haue all men saued, and to come vnto the knowlege of ye trueth.
2:5 For there is one god/ and one mediator bitwene god and mā/ which is the mā Christ Iesus/ For ther is one god/ & one (mediator) bit wene god & man/ which is ye man Christ Iesus For ther is one God/ and one (mediator) bitwene God and man/ which is the man Christ Iesus/ For there is one God, and one mediatour betwene God and men, (namely) the man Christ Iesus,
2:6 which gave hym silfe a raunsom for all men/ that it shulde be preached at his tyme/ which gave him silfe a raunsome for all men/ that it shuld be testified at his tyme/ which gaue him selfe a raunsome for all mē/ that it shuld be testified at his tyme/ which gaue him selfe a raunsome for all men, that at his tyme it shulde be preached,
2:7 where vnto I am apoynted a preacher/ and an apostle (I tell te trueth in Christ and lye not) beynge the teacher of the gentyls in fayth and veritie. where vnto I am ordayned a preacher and an apostle: I tell the trueth in Christ and lye not/ beynge the teacher of the gentyls in fayth and veritie. wher vnto I am ordayned a preacher & an Apostle: I tell the trueth in Christ & lye not being the teacher of the gentyls in fayth and veritie. where vnto I am ordeyned a preacher & an Apostle (I tell ye trueth in Christ and lye not) a teacher of the Heythē in faith and in the trueth.
2:8 I woll therfore that the men praye every where/ liftynge vppe pure hondes without wrath/ or arguynge. 2:9 Lykwyse also the wemen that they araye them selves in manerly aparell with shāfastnes/ and honest behaveour/ not with broyded heare/ other golde/ or pearles/ or costly araye: Lykwyse also the wemen that they araye them selves in comlye aparell with shamfastnes & discrete behaveour/ not with broyded heare/ other golde/ or pearles/ or costly araye: Lykewyse also the wemē that they araye thē selues in comlye apparell with shamfastnes & discrete behaueour/ not with broyded heare/ other golde/ or pearles/ or costly araye: Likewyse also the wemen, that they araye them selues in comly apparell with shamfastnes and discrete behaueor, not with broyded heer, or golde, or perles, or costly araye:
2:10 butt with suche as becommeth wemen that professe the worshippynge of God thorow good workes. but with suche as becōmeth wemen that professe the worshippynge of God thorow good workes. but with suche as becommeth wemē that professe the worshippinge of God thorow good workes. but with soch as it becommeth wemē that professe godlynes thorow good workes.
2:11 Let the woman learne in silence with all subieccion. Let the woman learne in silence with all subieccion. Let the woman learne in silence with all subieccion. Let the woman lerne in sylēce with all subieccion.
2:12 I suffre not a woman to teache/ nether to have auctoritie over a man: butt forto be in silence. I suffre not a woman to teache/ nether to have auctoricie over a man: but forto be in silence. 2:14 Also Adam was not deceaved/ butt the woman was deceaved/ and was in trangression. Also Adam was not deceaved/ but the woman was deceaved/ and was in transgression. Also Adam was not deceaued/ but the woman was deceaued/ and was in transgression. Adam also was not disceaued, but the woman was disceaued, and hath brought in the trāsgression.
2:15 Notwithstondynge they shalbe saved thorow bearynge off children/ yff they continue in the fayth and in love/ and in sanctifyinge. Notwithstondynge thorow bearinge of chyldrē they shalbe saved/ so they continue in fayth/ love and holynes with discrecion. Not withstondinge thorow bearinge of chyldren they shalbe saued/ so they continue in fayth/ loue and holynes with discrecion. Notwitstondynge thorow bearynge of children she shalbe saued, yf she contynue in faith and in loue & in the sanctifyenge with discrecion.
