1 Peter: Chapter 2b

2:1 VVherfore laye asyde all maliciousnes and all gyle/ and dissimulacion/ and enuye and all backbytynge: WHERFORE laye asyde all maliciousnes and al gyle, and faynednesse and enuy and all backbytinge: VVherfore laye asyde all maliciousnes and all gyle, and dissimulacion, and enuye and all backbytynge: WHERFORE, kye asyde all maticiousnes and all gyle, and dissimulation, and enuie, and all backbyting:
2:2 and as newe borne babes/ desyre that reasonable mylke/ which is with out corrupcion/ that ye maye growe therin. and as new borne babes, desyre ye the mylke (not of the body but of the soule) which is with out disceate: that ye maye growe ther by (unto saluacyon) and as newe borne babes, desyre that reasonable mylke, which is with out corrupcion, that ye maye growe therin. And as newe borne babes desire the syncere mylke of the worde, that ye maye growe therby.
2:3 Yf so be that ye haue tasted how pleasaunt the lorde is/ If so be that ye haue tasted, how gracious the Lorde is, Yf so be that ye haue tasted how pleasaunt the lorde is, If so be that ye haue tasted how good the Lord is.
2:4 to whom ye come as vnto a lyuynge stone disalowed of men/ but chosen of God and precious: to whom ye come, as vnto a lyuinge stone, disalowed of men, but chosen of God and precious : to whom ye come as vnto a lyuynge stone disalowed of men, but chosen of God and precious: To whoroe ye come as vnto a lyuyng stone disalowed of men, but chosen of God and pretious.

2:6 Wherfore it is contayned in the scripture: beholde I put in Syon an heed corner stone/ electe and precious: and he that beleueth on him/ shall not be a shamed. Wherfore it is contayned also in the scripture: beholde I put in Sion a stone to be layed in the chefe corner, electe and precious. and he that beleueth on him shall not be confounded. Wherfore it is contayned in the scripture: beholde I put in Syon an heed corner stone, electe and precious: and he that beleueth on him, shall not be a shamed. Wherfore it is eontayned in the Scripture, Beholde I put in Sion a chief corner stone, electe and precious: and he that beleueth on him, shal not be ashamed.
2:7 Vnto you therfore which beleue/ he is precious: but vnto them which beleue not/ the stone which the bylders refused/ the same is made the heed stone in the corner/ ‘ Unto youtherfore whych beleue he is precious: but vnto them which beleue not the stone which the buylders refused, the same is begonne to be the heed of the corner, Vnto you therfore which beleue, he is precious: but vnto them which beleue not, the stone which the bylders refused, the same is made the heed stone in the corner, Vnto you therfore which beleue, he is precious: but vnto them which be disobedient, the stone which the buylders refused, the same is made the head stone in the corner.
2:8 and a stone to stomble at/ and a rocke to offende them which stomble at the worde/ & beleue not that wher on they were set. and a stone that men stomble at, and a rocke wherat they be offended whych stomble at the worde, and beleue not that, wher on they were set. and a stone to stomble at, and a rocke to offende them which stomble at the worde, & beleue not that wher on they were set. 2:10 which in tyme past were not a people/ yet are now the people of God: which were not vnder mercye/ but now haue obteyned mercye. whych in tyme Pao were not a people, but are now the people of God: which some time had not optayned mercye, but now haue optayned mercye. which in tyme past were not a people, yet are now the people of God: which were not vnder mercye, but now haue obteyned mercye. 2:12 and se that ye haue honest conuersacion amonge the Gentyls/ that they which backbyte you as euyll doars/ maye se youre good workes and prayse God in the daye of visitacion. and se that ye haue honest conuersacion amonge the Gentyles, that where as they backbyte you as euyll doars they maye se your good workes, and prayse God in the daye of vysytacion. and se that ye haue honest conuersacion amonge the Gentyls, that they which backbyte you as euyll doars, maye se youre good workes and prayse God in the daye of visitacion. 2:13 Submit youre selues vnto all manner ordinaunce of man for the lordes sake/ whether it be vnto the kynge as vnto the chefe heed: Submyt youre selues therfore vnto all maner ordinaunce of man for the lordes sake, whether it be vnto the kynge. 2:18 Seruauntes obey youre masters with all feare/ not only yf they be good & courteous: but also though they be frowarde. 2:19 For it is thankeworthye yf a man for conscience towarde God endure grefe/ sufferynge wrongfully. 2:20 For what prayse is it/ yf when ye be buffeted for youre fautes/ ye take it paciently? But and yf when ye do well/ ye suffer wronge and take it paciently/ then is ther thanke with God. 2:24 which his awne selfe bare oure synnes in his body on the tree/ that we shulde be delyuered from synne and shuld liue in ryghtewesnes. By whose stripes ye were healed. whych hys awne selfe bare our synnes in his body on the tree, that we beyng delyuered from synne, shuldlyue vntoryghteousnes: By whose strypes ye were healed. which his awne selfe bare oure synnes in his body on the tree, that we shulde be delyuered from synne and shuld liue in ryghtewesnes. By whose stripes ye were healed. Which hys owne selfe bare our synnes in hys body on the tree, that we being deliuered from synne, should lyue in ryghtuousnes: by whose stripes ye were healed.
2:25 For ye were as shepe goynge astraye: but are now returned vnto the sheepherd and bysshope of youre soules. For ye were as shepe goyng astraye; but are now turned vnto the shepeherd and bysshope of youre soules.
