1:1 IVdas the servaunt of Iesus Christ/ the brother off Iames/ To them which are called and sanctified in god the father/ and preserved ī Christ Iesus. 1:3 Beloved/ when I gave all diligence to write vnto you off the cōmen health: itt was nedfull for me to wryte vnto you/ to exhorte you/ that ye shulde continnally laboure in the fayth/ which was once geven vnto the saynctes. 1:4 For there are certayne craftely crept ī/ of which it was writtē afore tyme vnto soche iudgemēt/ They are vngodly/ and turne the grace of oure lorde God vnto wantannes/ And denye God the only lorde/ and oure lorde Iesus Christ. For ther are certayne craftely crept in/ of which it was writē afore tyme vnto soche iudgemēt. 1:10 Butt these speake evyll of those thīgſ which they knowe not. In tho thyngſ which they knowe naturally (as beastes which are with out reason) they corrupte them selves.
