2:1 I Wolde ye knewe what fyghtīge I have for youre sakſ and for them of Ladicia/ ād for as many as have not sene my parsō ī the flesshe/ I Wolde ye knewe what fyghtinge I have for youre sakſ & for them of Laodicia/ & for as many as have not sene my parson in the flesshe/ I Wolde ye knewe what fyghtynge I have for youre sakes & for them of Laodicia/ and for as many as haue not sene my parson in the flesshe/ I Wolde ye knewe what fightinge I haue for youre sakes, and for them of Laodicea, and for as many as haue not sene my personne in the flesh,
2:2 that their hertes myght be comforted and knet togedder in love/ and in all ryches of full vnderstondynge/ forto knowe the mistery off God the father and of Christ that their hertes myght be cōforted & knet togedder in love/ & in all ryches of full vnderstondynge/ for to knowe ye mistery of God ye father & of Christ/ that their hertes myght be comforted and knet to geder in loue/ & in all ryches of full vnderstondynge/ for to knowe the mystery of God the father and of Christ/ that their hertes mighte be comforted and knytt together in loue, to all riches of full vnderstōdinge, which is in the knowlege of the mystery of God the father and of Christ,
2:3 in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdō ād knowledge. in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom & knowledge. in whom are hyd all the treasures of wysdome and knowledge. in whom are hyd all the treasures of wyssdome and knowlege.
2:4 This I saye lest eny mā shulde begylde you with entysynge wordes. This I saye lest eny man shuld begyle you with entysinge wordes. This I saye lest eny man shuld begyle you with entysinge wordes. This I saye, lest eny man shulde begyle you with entysinge wordes.
2:5 For though I be absent ī the flesshe/ yet am I present with you in the sprete ioyīge ād beholding the order that ye kepe/ ād youre stedfast fayth in Christ. 2:6 As ye have therfore receaved Christ Iesu the lorde/ even so walke As ye have therfore receaved Christ Iesu the Lorde/ even so walke/ As ye haue therfore receaued Christ Iesu the Lorde/ euen so walke/ As ye haue therfore receaued Christ Iesu the LORDE, euen so walke in him,
2:7 roted and bylt in hym/ ād stedfaste ī the fayth/ as ye have learned: and therin be plenteous in gevynge thankſ roted and bylt in him and stedfaste in the fayth/ as ye have learned: and therin be plenteous in gevynge thankes. roted and bylt in him & stedfaste in the fayth/ as ye haue learned: and therin be plenteous in geuynge thankes. and be roted & buylded in him, and be stedfast in faith, as ye haue learned: & be plenteous in the same in geuynge thankes.
2:8 Beware lest eny mā come ād spoyle you thorowe philosophy and disceatfull vanitie/ thorowe the tradiciōs of mē/ ād ordinaciōs after the worlde/ and not after Christ. Beware lest eny mā come & spoyle you thorow philosophy & disceatfull vanitie/ thorow the tradicions of mē & ordinaunces after the worlde/ & not after christ. Beware lest eny man come and spoyle you thorow philosophy and disceafull vanitie/ thorow the tradicions of men/ and ordinaunces after the worlde/ and not after Christ. Bewarre lest eny mā spoyle you thorow philosophy and disceatfull vanite after the tradicions of men, and after the ordinaūces of the worlde, and not after Christ.
2:9 For in hī dwelleth all the fulnes of the godheed boddyly/ For in him dwelleth all the fulnes of the godheed bodyly/ For in him dwelleth all the fulnes of the Godheed bodyly/ For in him dwelleth all the fulnes of the Godheade bodely,
2:10 ād ye are full in hī/ which is the heed of all rule and power/ & ye are complete in him which is the heed of all rule & power/ and ye are complete in him which is the heed of all rule and power/ and ye are complete in him, which is the heade of all rule and power:
2:11 in whom also ye are circumcised with circumcision made with out hondſ/ by puttynge of the sinfull boddy of the flesshe/ thorowe the circūcisiō that is in Christ/ in whom also ye are circūcised with circumcision made mith out hondſ/ by puttinge of the sinfull boddy of the flesshe/ thorow the circumcision yt is in Christ/ in whom also ye are circumcised with circumcision made with out hondes/ by puttynge of the sinfull body of the flesshe thorow the circumcision that is in Christ/ in whom also ye are circumcysed with circumcision without handes, by puttynge of the synfull body of the flesh: (namely) with the circumcysion of Christ,

2:13 And hath with hym quyckened you olso which were deed in synne and in the vncircumcision of youre flesshe/ and hath forgeven vs oure trespases/ And ye which weare deed in synne thorow ye vncircūcision of youre flesshe/ hath he quyckened wt him & hath forgevē vs all oure trespases And ye which weare deed in synne thorow the vncircumcision of youre flesshe/ hath he quyckened with him & hath forgeuen vs all oure trespaces And with him he quyckened you, whan ye were deed in synnes, and in the vncircumcision of youre flesh, and hath forgeuen vs all synnes,
2:14 and hath put out the obligaciō that was agaynst vs/ made in the lawe written/ and thatt hath he takē out of the waye/ and hath fastened it ō his crosse/ & hath put out ye handwritinge yt was agaynst vs/ cōtayned in ye lawe writtē/ & that hath he takē out of the waye & hath fastened it to his crosse/ & hath put out the handwrittinge that was agaynst vs/ contayned in the lawe written/ & that hath he taken out of the waye & hath fastened it to his crosse/ and put out the handwrytinge that was agaynst vs (cōtayned in the lawe wrytten) and that hath he taken out of the waye, and fastened it to the crosse:
2:15 and hath spoyled rule and power/ and hath made a shewe of thē openly/ and hath triumphed over them in his awne persone. & hath spoyled rule and power and hath made a shewe of thē openly/ & hath triumphed over them in his awne persone. & hath spoyled rule & power/ & hath made a shewe of thē openly/ & hath triumphed ouer them in his awne person. 2:16 Let noman therfore trouble youre conciences aboute meate ād drynke: or for a pece of an holydaye/ as the holydaye of the newe mone or of the saboth daye/ Let nomā therfore trouble youre consciēces aboute meate & drynke or for a pece of an holydaye/ as the holydaye of the newe mone or of the sabboth dayes/ Let noman therfore trouble youre consciēces aboute meate and drincke or for a pece of an holydaye/ as the holydaye of the newe mone/ or of the Saboth dayes/ Let no man therfore trouble youre consciences aboute meate or drynke, or for a pece of an holy daye, as the holy daye of ye newe Mone, or of the Sabbath dayes,
2:17 which are nothīge but shaddowes of thyngſ to come: but the body is in Christ. which are nothinge but shaddowes of thynges to come: but the body is in Christ. which are nothinge but shaddowes of thinges to come: but the body is in Christ. which are the shadowe of the thinges that were for to come: but the body selfe is in Christ.
2:18 Lett noo mā make you shute at a wronge marke/ which after his awne ymaginacion walketh in the humblenes of angels/ thīgſ which he never sawe: causlesse puft vppe with his flesshly mynde/ Let no man make you shote at a wrōge (marke)/ which after his awne ymaginacion walketh in the humblenes and holynes of angels/ thinges which he never sawe: causlesse puft vp with his flesshly mynde/ Let no man make you shote at a wronge marke which after his awne ymaginacion walketh in the humblenes and holynes of angels/ thinges which he neuer sawe: causlesse puft vp with his flesshly mynde/ Let no man make you shote at a wronge mark, which after his owne chosynge walketh in humblenes and spiritualtye of angels, thinges which he neuer sawe, and is vayne, and puft vp in his owne fleshly mynde:
2:19 and holdeth not the heed/ wher of all the body by ioyntſ and couples receaveth norisshmēt/ and is knet togedder/ and encreaseth with the in creasynge that cōmeth of god. & holdeth not the heed/ wherof all the body by ioyntes and couples receaveth norisshment/ and is knet to gedder/ & encreaseth with the in creasynge that commeth of god. & holdeth not the heed/ wherof all the body by ioyntes and couples receaueth norisshment/ and is knet to geder/ and encreaseth with the in creasynge that commeth of God. and holdeth not himselfe to the heade, wherof the whole body by ioyntes and couples receaueth norishment, and is knyt together, and so groweth to the greatnes that commeth of God.
2:20 Wherfore if ye be deed with Christ frō doctrine of the worlde: Why as though ye yet lived in the worlde/ are ye ledde with tradiciōs of thē that saye? Wherfore if ye be deed with Christ frō ordinaunces of the worlde/ why as though ye yet lived in the worlde/ are ye ledde with tradiciōs of them that saye? Wherfore yf ye be deed with Christ from ordinaunces of the worlde/ why as though ye yet liued in the worlde/ are ye ledde with tradicions of them that saye? Wherfore yf ye be deed with Christ from the ordinaunces of the worlde, why are ye holden thē with soch tradicions, as though ye lyued after the worlde? As whan they saye:
2:21 Touche not/ Tast not/ Handle not: Touche not/ tast not/ handell not: Touche not/ tast not/ handell not: Touch not this, taist not that, handle not that.
2:22 which all perysshe with the vsynge of them/ and are after the cōmaundmentſ/ and doctryns of men: which all perysshe wt the vsinge of thē & are after the cōmaundmentes & doctrins of men which all perisshe with the vsynge of them and are after the cōmaundmentes and doctrins of men: All these thinges do hurte vnto men, because of the abuse of them, which abuse commeth onely of the commaundementes and doctrynes of men:
2:23 which thīgſ have the similitude of wisdō ī chosē holynes/ and humblenes/ and in thatt they spare not the body/ and do the flesshe no worshyppe vnto his nede. which thingſ have the similitude of wisdome in chosen holynes and humblenes/ and in that they spare not the body/ & do the flesshe no worshype vnto his nede. which thinges haue the similitude of wysdome in chosen holynes and humblenes/ & in that they spare not the body/ and do the flesshe no worshype vnto his nede. which thinges haue a shyne of wyssdome thorow chosen spiritualtie and humblenes, and in that they spare not the body, and do the flesh no worshipe vnto his nede.
