5:3 Then sayde Peter: Ananias how is it that satan hath filled thyne hert/ thatt thou shuldest lye vnto the holy goost/ and kepe awaye parte off the pryce off the lyvelod: Then sayde Peter: Ananias/ how is it that Satan hath filled thyne hert/ that thou shuldest lye vnto the holy goost/ and kepe awaye parte of the pryce of the lyvelod: Then sayde Peter: Ananias/ how is it that Sathan hath filled thyne hert/ that thou shuldest lye vnto the holy goost/ & kepe awaye parte of the pryce of the lyuelod: But Peter sayde: Ananias, Wherfore hath Sathan fylled thine hert, that thou shuldest lye vnto the holy goost, and withdrawe awaye parte of the money of the lyuelod?
5:4 Pertayned it not vnto the only? And after it was solde/ was not the pryce in thyne awne power? Howe is it that thou hast conceaved this thynge in thyne herte? Thou hast nott lyed vnto men/ but vnto God. Pertayned it not vnto the only/ and after it was solde/ was not the pryce in thyne awne power? How is it that thou hast cōceaved this thinge in thyne herte? Thou hast not lyed vnto men/ but vnto God. Pertayned it not vnto the only/ & after it was solde/ was not the pryce in thyne awne power? And whan it was solde, the money was also in thy power: Why hast thou then conceaued this thinge in thine hert? Thou hast not lyed vnto mē, but vnto God.
5:5 When Ananias herde these wordes/ he fell doune and gave vp the goost. And grett feare cam on all them that these thynges herde. When Ananias herde these wordes. he fell doune & gave vp the goost. 5:6 And the yonge men roose vp and put hym a parte/ and caryed hym out/ and buryed hym. And the yonge men roose vp/ and put him a parte/ & caryed him out/ and buryed him. 5:7 Hit fortuned as it were aboute the space of iij. houres after/ that his wyfe cam in ignoraunt of that which was done. 5:8 Peter sayde vnto her: Tell me/ solde ye the londe for so moche? And she sayde: ye for so moche. And Peter sayde vnto her: Tell me/ gave ye the londe for so moche? And she sayde: ye for so moche And Peter sayde vnto her: Tell me/ gaue ye the londe for so moche? And she sayde: ye/ for so moche. But Peter answered vnto her. Tell me, solde ye the londe for so moch? She sayde: Yee, for so moch.
5:9 Peter sayd vnto her: why have ye agreed to geder/ to tempt the sprete off the lorde? Loo/ the fete off them which have buryed thy husbande are at the dore/ and shall cary the out/ Then Peter sayde vnto her: why have ye agreed to gether/ to tēpt the sprete of the Lorde? 5:10 thē she fell doune strayght waye at his fete and yelded vp the goost. The yonge men cam in ād founde her ded/ ād caryed her out ād buryed her by her husbande. 5:11 And grett feare cam on all the congregacion. And on as many as herde it. And great feare came on all the congregacion/ and on as many as hearde it. 5:12 By the hōdes of the Apostles were many signes and wondres shewed amonge the people. And they were all togedder wyth one acorde in Solomons hall. 5:13 And of other durst noo man ioyne hym silfe to them: but the people magnyfyed them. And of other durst no man ioyne him selfe to them: neverthelater the people magnyfied them. And of other durst no man ioyne him selfe to them: neuerthelater the people maagnified them. but of other there durst no man ioyne him self vnto thē, neuertheles the people helde moch of them.

5:16 There cam also a multitude out off the cites round about vnto Ierusalem/ bryngyng with thē their sicke and them whych were vexed with vnclene sprettes. And they were healed every won. 5:21 Whē they herde that/ they entred into the temple erly in the mornynge and taught. The chefe prest cam ād they that were with hī and called a counsell togedder/ and all the seniours off the chyldren off israhel/ and sent to the preson to fett them. 5:23 sayinge: The preson founde we shut with all diligence/ and the kepers stondynge with out before the dores: but when we had openned we founde no man with in. sayinge: the preson founde we shut as sure as was possible/ and the kepers stondynge with out before ye dores. 5:24 When the chefe prest of all and the rueler of the temple/ and the hye prestes herde these thynges/ they douted off them/ where vnto this wolde growe. 5:25 Then cam won and shewed them: Loo the mē thatt ye putt in preson stonde in the temple/ and preache to the peple. Then came one & shewed them: beholde ye men yt ye put in preson/ stonde in the tēple/ & teache the people. 5:26 Then went the rueler of the temple with ministers/ and brought them with out violence. For they feared the people lest they shulde have bene stoned. 5:28 sayinge: Did nott we straytely commaunde you that ye shulde not teache in this name? and beholde ye have filled Ierusalem with youre doctrine/ and ye intende to brynge this mans bloud apon vs. sayinge: dyd not we straytely cōmaunde you that ye shuld not teache in this name? And beholde ye have filled Ierusalem with youre doctrine/ & ye intende to brynge this mans bloud vpon vs. sayinge: dyd not we straytely commaunde you that ye shuld not teache in this name? 5:29 Peter and the other apostles answered/ and sayde: We ought moare to obey God then men. Peter and the other Apostles answered & sayde: We ought moare to obey God then men. 5:31 Hym beynge a rueler ād a saveoure hath god exalted with his right honde/ for to geve repentaunce to Israhell and forgevenes of synnes. 5:32 And we are his recordes as concernynge these thynges: and also the holy goost/ whom God hath geven to them that obey hym. 5:36 Before these dayes rose vp one Theudas bostynge hym silfe/ to whom resorted a nombre off men/ about a foure hondred/ which was slayn/ and they all which beleved hym were scatred a broode/ and brought to nought. 5:38 And nowe I saye vnto you: refrayne youre selves from these men/ and let them alone: For yff this counsell or werke be of men/ itt will come to nought: And now I saye vnto you: refrayne youre selves from these men/ let them alone. For yf ye coūsell or this worke be of men/ it will come to nought. And now I saye vnto you: refrayne youre selues from these men/ let them alone. For yf the coūsell of this worke be of men/ it will come to nought. And now I saye vnto you: refrayne yor selues frō these men, and let thē go. Yf this councell or worke be of mē, it wil come to naught:
5:39 but and if it be of God/ ye cānot destroye it/ lest haply ye be foūde to stryve agaynst god But & yf it be of God/ ye can not destroye it/ lest haply ye be founde to stryve agaynst God. But & yf it be of God ye cānot destroye it/ lest haply ye be founde to stryue agaynst God. but yf it be of God, ye are not able to destroye it, lest ye be founde to be the men, that wil stryue agaynst God.
5:40 And to hym they agreed/ ād called the apostles/ and bett them/ and cōmaunded that they shulde not speake in the name of Iesu/ and lett thē goo. And to him they agreed/ and called the Apostles/ and bet them/ & cōmaunded that they shuld not speake in ye name of Iesu/ and let them goo. 5:41 And they departed from the counsell reioysynge that they were counted worthy to suffre rebuke for his name. 5:42 And dayly in the temple/ and in every housse they ceased nott/ teachynge and preachynge Iesus Christ.
