| The Rapture from Harold |
It will seem as if the writer does not fully believe that
there is a Rapture to take place, whereby the Saints (God's Saved Children) will
be taken away to be with our Saviour.
Wow!! Isn't this rather confusing???.
I'd really like to know more about the Writers viewpoint on this.
I mean, we serve THE Loving, Merciful, Gracious God, Who cares for His Children
so much that He gave His only Begotten Son, so that we might be Saved, AND
indeed be Saved from the tribulation of the anti-christ.
Help me here please. Because my understanding always has been that God, in His
Love, Mercy and Grace WILL SAVE HIS CHILDREN FROM THE TRIBULATION OF THE
ANTI-CHRIST ERA.
God Bless you all.
Thank you.
Jim's Reply:
So Harold ...........
I believe what's written in God's Word.
I am betting that you agree with that statement as well.
Where we will differ is how "men" interpret that written Word ..... don't you
think?
Jesus will return at the last (7th) Trump and those of us who are still alive
will be instantaneously changed from flesh to spiritual bodies:
1 Corinthians 15:51-52
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be
changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet
shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be
changed.
KJV
The problem I have seen is that those believing in a "secret change" (i.e.
rapture) CLAIM that the "last Trump" is a different trump from the "7th Trump".
This is entirely a matter of opinion and one's perspective of what the Bible
says. The rapture is not biblical. It is merely interpreting the Bible to say
what you already know to be real. Call it a self-fulfilling prophecy based on
these preconceived ideas that God would never expect His children to be tested
in such a manner.
The Bible, to me, clearly states that all will be tested by the AntiChrist. All
.......... except those who have passed on (died).
Now you are probably going to tell me that these graves where our dead bodies
are buried will open and be resurrected during this rapture too. Correct?
This too is an error of understanding the Bible and what it says. All folks who
die return at that precise instant to be with our Heavenly Father. Whether they
be saint or sinner, they return to the Father as it is written here:
Ecclesiastes 12:1-7
12 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come
not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
...
5 ... because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:
6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the
pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return
unto God who gave it.
KJV
AND:
Luke 16:22-28
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into
Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar
off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
...
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that
they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us,
that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to
my father's house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come
into this place of torment.
KJV
Next, you will probably tell me that this "rich man", in those verses of Luke 16
went to "hell" (as churches teach that flaming pit exists now) and is being
"fried" there even as we are having this discussion.
This "hell", as taught by the churches, is a lie and will not exist until
the Gtreat White Throne Judgment.
Have I put down your points and answered them?
If not, please email your points/questions.
