Creator's name
Wanda asks:
"what is his real name? if you know that it is yahweh why don't you teach it?"
Jim's reply:
It is not Yahweh, but rather Yahveh. More correctly "Yhvh".
The "w" is an erroeous choice of the english alphabet letter that equates to the
ancient Hebrew letter in God's sacred name in that language.
Personally, since there is but one God, I see no error in referring to Him with
the word "God".
The problem you seem to be hinting toward is: Just what name is correct to call
God?
I see it as whatever the correct translation of a word from one language to
another, is the acceptable "word" to use in another language (be it French,
English, Chinese, etc.). ..... OR are you saying that all peoples should address
God by using the same word from the Hebrew language?
If this is your point, I would be interested in hearing your reasoning to that
conclusion.
